I’ve come here regularly, every two weeks, for many years. I wish they had a way to just schedule me for the rest of the year. Instead, I have to call every other week and make an appointment. Sometimes when I get there on time I’ve had to wait an additional 15 - 20 mins, even when I’ve made an appointment. On the other hand if I’m late by even 5 mins, they take someone else on and I’m potentially waiting even longer. I drive an hour to come here and I always have another appointment afterwards, so having to build in extra time because I’m not exactly sure when they’ll take me makes it difficult to schedule other appointments.

This last visit was simply the final straw. I was 10 mins late for a 4:15 pm appointment (which rarely happens). They had two people ahead of me already. Unfortunately, I was not able to wait that long because I had another appointment. He did have a 6 pm slot available (I was willing to come back for it) but I was told that it was reserved for emergencies only. I admit that in this case I was the one late and that is on me.

However, as a faithful client for many years, who is on-time, I would have hoped they could’ve helped me out in this case. Instead the front receptionist wanted me to come back the next day. That 6PM slot was not offered to me. I finally decided to take my business elsewhere when another place on Melrose took me in last minute at 6:15 pm.

The new front receptionist at Sublime Eyes is not very good, in my opinion. She lacks the ability to think outside the box and doesn’t know how best to resolve issues.

I have been going to Sublime Eyes for about 5+ years now and I cannot rave about it enough. My eyebrows had been the source of annoyance for years, as I hated how thin they were and I had tried every trick in the book to make them grow thicker (oils, ointment, latisse, prescriptions, yoga, you name it!). A few years ago, a friend of mine who is a beauty expert heard my complaints and recommended Angel at Sublime Eyes. In the beginning I would get my brows threaded by him and then he applied a special henna to give a natural-looking thickness to them, which I LOVED!! Just recently, I went in to get permanent makeup and I am in literal heaven. I couldn't have imagined how happy I'd be after the procedure. No longer do I waste precious time, energy and money on expensive products to fill in my eyebrows! His technique is amazing, I've never gotten so many compliments on my eyebrows (from girls AND guys) and I feel confident enough with how they look to leave the house sans makeup- THATS how on fleek my brow game is these days. He and all of the stylists at Sublime Eyes really are eyebrow experts- I completely trust them all. Angel knew exactly how thick and the right colouring to apply the permanent makeup so they looked natural and flawless. Incredibly disappointed. Used to come here all the time to get my lashes done with Amir. Absolutely love Amir. Got my brows microbladed a couple times from Angel when I lived in LA. I was back in town and really wanted to see Angel to get a touch up. I purposely delayed my travel back home to make sure I had time to see him. I had a 10:15am appt. I showed up at 10:08. He numbed my brows and then another 10a appt of his showed up late. He went to go help her out “real quick” said he’d be back in 10. 10:45a and still did not return. I got up to go look for him and he was chatting away still doing his other clients brows and had NO sense of urgency for his 10:15. I told him I had to catch a train which I why I booked at 10:15. He still took his time with his client and by the time he showed up - he came as if nothing was wrong. I asked him how long the touch up would take he said an hour and I needed to leave by 11:20. I told him I had to go and now I don’t have time. HE COULD CARE LESS. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY!!!! Completely baffled. I recommended him to soooo many of my friends and I completely regret it now.
