It isn't hard to tell people you're closed. Reading other reviews, it seems like maybe you need to send someone out to your drive through line to 'cut it off' at some point. Your current responses are extremely rude.
Monday, I swung by this Taco Bell at 7:45 for a bite to eat before driving home. I was not in a hurry, and I had a book to read, so I waited patently, though the line was long. At 8:35, I was third in line to order. The truck at the order box waited for 12 minutes before simply pulling forward to the window (times are not exaggerated- I was messaging friends throughout the process). The car in front of me got up to the order box at 8:48. 10 minutes later, that car pulled forward- at 8:58 after sitting in this line for an hour and fifteen minutes, at least. I did not wait at the box for more than a minute. After pulling forward, I could see the truck that never ordered at the box pass money through the window and get food. The car in front of me pulled forward. Nobody ever came to the window. After 10 minutes or so, that car pulled off. I pulled up to the window as well and could see at least 2, maybe 3 people cleaning. Nobody could bother to come to the window. Nobody could bother to speak to those in line or those trying to order. I personally pulled around and told everyone else in line (at least 10 cars who had been waiting for quite a long time) that the store appeared to be closed- although the lights were on, employees were present, and nobody would address us. Nobody would speak to people on the intercom and nobody would speak to people at the window. At least two people in line told me they had mobile orders that they had already paid for and needed to pick up. I told them good luck.
I have an extreme amount of sympathy for service employees right now. It must be very difficult with the worker shortage. That said, it would have taken a couple of minutes for one employee to walk out and tell everyone you were closed, or even to come over the intercom and tell each car you were closed. Ideally, doing this before you close would be best- especially when there is a very long line. When I got in line at 7:45, there were 10-11 cars in the drive through, total. The team could not service those 10-11 cars in over an hour, and didn't have the decency to tell us they were closed or giving up. I try to be understanding, but that is absolutely unacceptable. The fact that it's been handled the same way multiple times is insane.
I'll add that this whole time, the phone was off the hook. I tried to call at one point to see if the store was opened and got a busy signal. The folks with mobile orders tried to call too. Same thing. The whole thing was extremely...
Read moreOrdered 6 tacos total, two chips and cheese, and two sodas. The line wasn't too long, so I thought nothing of it. To start, my order was handed to the person in front of me. Luckily, they noticed and said something to the drive-thru window worker. So they get their order and move on. My time comes, I go up and pay, then take my order. Not only am I missing 4 total tacos, but the two I received were almost fully unwrapped and all over the place. When I open the bag and take out one of my tacos, the whole thing went across my lap and the bag. I tell them that I was missing tacos and that the ones I had were all over the place, and messy, and the bag was leaking everywhere from the juice leaking out. They take the order back and re-make the SAME TWO tacos. Same deal. So I tell them we were still missing 4 tacos and the chips. They take the bag back once more, and after 10 minutes the manager comes to the window and starts being extremely rude and disrespectful. She tries to say that I was wrong and the tacos weren't wrong, there wasn't meat everywhere and that everything was okay. I then point out it was not the same bag they had handed me and she responds "Well this is the remade bag" and rolls her eyes. I told her they never handed me that third remade bag. She tosses it into my hand and closes the window. They finally get the order right and the manager walked away after closing the door and tossing me my food. The worker at the window apologized for what he had seen and what his manager had done. I'm not one to have hurt feelings, but if you're going to work in a fast food restaurant, take responsibility and don't disrespect the person who isn't in the wrong. Hopefully, she loses her job so no one else has to deal with her disrespect and rude self. Won't be getting anything...
Read moreUpdate: visiting for the first time since the last review. It’s only fair to the new staff to give it an update.
The food was really good, I know…it’s TacoBell. I grew up on this stuff, so believe me when I say it was good TacoBell. As my kids would say, “no cap”. I had a chicken power bowl, which, dare I say it… was the best chicken I’ve ever had at a TacoBell. The rest of our order looked, and tasted like [spoiler alert] TACOBELL!
The staff was busy, and courteous.
While the bathroom, needed a good cleaning, the dining area was clean. Leaving the old review to contrast how ⬆️employees⬇️make all the difference!
I don’t know what this person was going through, it was Covid, and it sucked for everyone. While it was honest, I could have had more compassion in my review, I was also not at my best.
Zero Stars
Another Covid casualty. They close when they want to close, and are very rude about it.
We arrived in the drive through before 8:30pm (they close at 9pm according to the door) with an online order. They claimed they were closing because there was “just one of her”. (There were at least 5 people we could see through the drive through window.)
The drive through gal was rude, argued with us and when told we had an online order we had paid for to pick up her response was, “Whatever, Dude.”
Food wasn’t wrapped, they just dropped it in a bag and basically shoved it out the window at us.
Rude. Unprofessional. Uncalled for. This food is not worth the increased price and non-exsistant customer service.
Skip this place, it’s not worth...
