Just wanted to share my experience with No Wires
Made Our first appointment to meet with Cheriese, no one was there at the scheduled time, had to wait for Nicole to return. I was told I would never need to call Dish again. I was also told that Nicole would handle are Dish Gift Card. A few days later we discovered Nicole quit her Job. When Lyle arrived to install he came off as a person that does not like to work with the Public. He refused to get on the roof to inspect or replace the âEyeballâ after being in the weather 8 years. He was annoyed when I questioned why he was installing a âRefurbishedâ Hopper when I was told we were getting the the more modern new model. We had a problem with the Receiver connecting to Netflix, wasted 2 hours trying to troubleshoot the issue. Lyle asked me redundant obvious questions that was no help. Turns out the Hopper needed 24 hours to update. Then we had issues with DVR during playback âFreezing Upâ. Cheriese assured me that a New Hopper would arrive at my Home directly from Dish on November 22nd. The next day contacted her to let her know the Hopper did not show up. That morning Lyle showed up with a âRefurbished Hopperâ again. When I asked why we are not getting the New Model his response was agitated and rude. Iâm here now! I tried to explain that the situation did not match up with what I was told by Cheriese. He was obviously in a hurry and wanted to leave before the system was 100% complete. A week later Dish sent me a âreturn boxâ, I contacted Cheriese about the the Receiver Lyle took with him that day. She was very vague on explaining why Dish was expecting me to return the receiver that I did not have. Cheriese sent me a copy return label with my name hand written on the front. It had nothing on it confirming the Receiver was the one connected to my Dish account. Finally, after 3 attempts I was not getting confirmation from Cheriese, so I called Dish and was assured that they were not expecting me to return the Receiver. What was different is Customer Service was willing to listen to my concerns with patience and understanding. I was told this morning by Cheriese that from this point forward to contact Dish. Charisse could not have been nicer in the courting stage, assuring me that she would take care of dealing with Dish and lowering our internet bill. "Let me handle everything," she insisted. Once the 2-year contract was signed, the sweetness and light disappeared. The first three bills we got charged us for movies we did not watch so I called Charisse for her help. By the third time, she clearly thought I was a pain in the rear and treated me accordingly. Not the best customer service or problem solving approach. Even worse, when our Spectrum internet bill went up after the promotion ended, she said there would be a CHARGE for her to call and renegotiate the price!!!! She wanted $30 to make the call!! I never called her for anything again and couldn't wait for our contract to end. Goodbye No Wires Now, Goodbye Dish!! Cheaper and way better customer service...
