Black Rock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Medford

I had to write a review because I really love this location and Black Rock Coffee in general. The team members are always super nice and helpful. They have a great balance between getting your order out fast and making polite conversation.

I have to say it was kind of disappointed with my experience today because I went to the shop kind of excited to use my rewards. When I ordered my drink, I stated that I had a reward. I didn’t know if it was a birthday reward or just from points.

However, when I went to use my points, the barista told me that I could only use them on the app. So while I was waiting, I tried to download the app, and I had to create an account which I did, but then when it when I went to register the account I could not do it. The app froze.

Ultimately, this is not a big deal because I love Black Rock coffee and I was very happy with everything else, but it was kind of disappointing going in trying to use my rewards and then being locked out...

Super disappointed I don't come to town very often but when I do I always like to go get an iced coffee. I get there at 602, not realizing they sit close at 6 o'clock. Sorry, I already closed everything down. I've been closed down for a little bit. I don't understand why these places are always close up. And have everything cleaned app before it's even close time. Last time it was 5 minutes before close, and they didn't want to serve me. I've had some good experiences. But today, definitely not being one of them in my opinion, they need employees, you know, like to work. They don't mind staying 5 minutes later, 10 minutes later, to clean up to make someone's day to make their coffee on their way out of town. The little treat They get every once in a while when they're in town. Like, I hope you had something real important...

Just went to the new Medford location at 7:35 p.m. I figured my family and I would try it for the first time.... WELL... I asked for a drip coffee, with a shot of hazelnut in it. The girl behind the counter said that they stopped serving coffee a half hour ago. I thought she was kidding with me, but NO SHE WASNT... apparently Black Rock "COFFEE" bar is just a deceptive title.... I laughed hysterically and went to Human Bean instead.....the funniest thing is, my 12 year old son, and his 11 year old friend were both pissed as well, and they weren't even the ones wanting coffee in the first place.... All in all, it was the first and last time we ever go to Black Rock Bar (the word "COFFEE" was cleverly omitted...
