We have visited Miami three times, and on our first trip, we discovered this little restaurant. We were so pleasantly impressed that it quickly became very special to us. During our entire first vacation in 2022, we had breakfast there almost every day and often came for lunch to enjoy their pizza. My husband usually doesn’t like pizza, but even he was captivated by the flavor of their amazing pizza. We also really enjoyed the pasta, coffee, and fresh orange juice. After returning home, we recommended it to all our friends visiting Miami.
On our second visit in 2023, we went there intentionally, knowing it would be delicious, and our expectations were fully met – everything was top-notch, just like the first time.
This year, on our third visit, I was already missing this wonderful place. Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed. The pizza had lost its flavor and had become overly crispy, almost like a cracker. The pasta and lasagna portions were smaller, and my pasta seemed under-seasoned. Because of this, we even started going to their competitors for pizza.
Another point that was a bit frustrating: you order at the counter and pick up your food yourself, yet a 18% service charge is automatically added to the price of the dishes.
On the positive side, the coffee was still amazing, and we appreciated that a staff member kindly took my phone to charge it and was very friendly.
Overall, we hope the restaurant can regain its former flavor and level of service, as this place used to be very...
Read moreThis Italian restaurant is the real deal — a place where tradition meets passion, and every dish is prepared with the kind of love that makes you feel like part of the family. From the cozy, candle-lit atmosphere to the aroma of garlic, basil, and fresh-baked bread floating through the air, this was Italian dining at its finest.
We started with the bruschetta al pomodoro — crisp, toasted bread topped with juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Simple, fresh, and absolutely perfect. Then came the arancini — golden, crispy risotto balls filled with mozzarella and served over a rich marinara. Total comfort food.
For the main course, I ordered the fettuccine al tartufo — fresh, house-made pasta in a decadent truffle cream sauce with shaved parmesan. Rich, earthy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My dining partner had the veal saltimbocca, which was tender and perfectly cooked, with sage, prosciutto, and a white wine butter sauce that was heavenly.
We shared a bottle of Chianti recommended by our server, who was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. For dessert, the cannoli and house-made tiramisu were both divine — light, creamy, and not overly sweet.
Everything about this place, from the service to the seasoning, feels thoughtfully crafted and deeply authentic. Whether you're a fan of old-school Italian classics or more modern takes, this restaurant delivers a five-star experience every time....
Read moreReally disappointing. From the outside, we were really intrigued by the wonderful view of the pizza in the place. The first time we went, the food was very bland and not very hot but we wanted to give it another try. The next day we went out for a pizza. We got in line and picked a different one hoping that it would be better. I pointed to the one I wanted that looked really good, but the woman refused to give it to me and gave me one that had been there all day. You could tell that it was old. I asked her to make sure it was hot and she didn’t like that. When we got to the register I could tell that they were talking and annoyed with me because I wanted a pizza that they wouldn’t give me. They gave us our silverware and it was really dirty. I asked for clean silverware Which they never gave us. So, we could either eat everything with our hands or use stuff that was caked on the dirty fork. I felt like a pest at that point, But also dirty silverware and dirty plates it’s not something I wanna do especially during Covid. The place was not clean they were not kind and the pizza really didn’t make up for all of that. This one was also bland and lacking the toppings. The tables were all used and dirty. It was terrible check out the photos. There was no pepperoni on two of the four slices we ordered. Darn.. hopefully they can do better in the future. For reference 4slices / half a pie with a bottle of water...
