I dont even know where to start. This hotel is great on so many levels, and very beautiful. First I'll start with the people. They are like family to us. The kindness and attention we have been treated with for many years already is unforgettable and makes us feel at home. The owners Jordan and Shai have been beyond hospitable and kind. They have welcomed us, spent time with us, and always make sure we are very happy eith our room. They are very accomodating and exceed our expectations. They also always leave a note and a great bottle of champagne to welcome us in style and with warmth.
The front desk Melody, Melvin, Delroy and Scott have been so kind, helpful, professional and smart. They tended to every issue and request and handled eveything so efficiently. Thanks to them, everything ran very smoothly. And they always had a smile and great conversation for us when we passed by.
Carlos is absolutely amazing! He is always there for us, always helps us with eveything from luggage, to room requests, to photos. And one time we wanted to extend our stay and unfortunately Sagamore was already booked for the dates we wanted to extend so we had to switch to another hotel up the block. Carlos took all our luggage amd transported it for us..carried it himself on the trolly to the other hotel which was about 2 blocks away! It was such a kind gesture and so incredibly helpful. He really just went out of his way for us and we will always remember that.
The hotel itself is beautiful and artistic. It is based on incredible art themes and there's always beautiful artwork portrayed on the walls, which is taken from galleries and displayed during Art Basil week. And in tandem, there are some very deep quotes posted througout the hotel space that really inspire amd infuse the mind and soul with peace.
The rooms are incredible- large spacious, sometimes suites with such comfortable beds and robes that are probably the highest quality I've seen in a resort. There are also balconies with a view to the beach. The pool is lovely with a lot of greenery, very comfortable lounge chairs, and bean bags, and great music. The people working there are also incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food is great with delicious coconuts. The beach of course is great with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs.
There is even a large area outside by the pool with couches and tables under a roof. In case it gets too hot or rains its a very comfortable place to take shelter. Also great to work, have a meeting or just relax.
The location is absolutely prime- right in the center of everything and across the street from Lincoln Road. Walgreens is in same block if you need anything. Great cafes and restaurants everywhere. And very close to Ocean Drive- we always walked there! There's also a beach boardwalk and they even have bikes you can take anytime and ride wherever you want.
Its been such a pleasure staying at Sagamore, weve been coming back for years. Thank you for such great stays and memories Sagamore! The experience is unforgettabe-...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed at the Sagamore from Thursday to Monday. Despite that we had arrived in the middle of the night due to multiple flight delays, the overnight front desk staff member (so sorry I canât remember his name) really deserves a lot of recognition for his hospitality and kindness. In general, we had nothing but amazing experiences with all of the front desk staff.
Before arriving, I had noted a few times that it was my husbandâs birthday and they were kind enough to leave a gift in our room upon arrival. The thought that went into that was greatly appreciated and made my husband very happy after a long travel day!
This hotel had a great location in Miami. Close to the outdoor mall and plenty of stores and restaurants across the street. There are some reviews here saying that the beds are uncomfortable, but we found them to be super comfortable.
Most* of the staff working there are very friendly. The only ones we had displeasing interactions with were the bartenders at the pool bar who laughed at and made fun of my husband when he thought it was happy hour (when it wasnât) in a weekend, and judged him for it. As a guest who pays a lot to stay at this resort, this was quite insulting. Not to mention, the prices of drinks at the pool bar are disgustingly expensive for what you get. Youâre better off buying your own drinks elsewhere.
The men working at both towel bars were friendly and polite.
The resort fees cover a lot of amenities. However, it doesnât really make sense that you have to pay extra for an umbrella at the beach (not included as part of the resort fees) but can use any of the ones at the pool at no additional cost. It was also frustrating that walking from the beach back to the resort, we walked past a man who looked to be a staff member in the area (I couldnât really tell if he was from Sagamore or not) who was on his phone telling someone that he could get them chairs at the beach at the Sagamore resort for them for free. It would have definitely been more professional if this was done in more of a private area and not around hotel guests who spend their hard-earned money to be here.
The hotelâs wifi connection is incredibly slow.
It is also not worth it to upgrade your room. The lower-end rooms are clean, spacious and everything you need it for unless you are looking for an ocean view.
Overall, I would give this resort...
Read moreAn exceptional stay at a beautiful beachside retreat! Stayed here many times over the years. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations and is a home away from home.
First and foremost, the location of the hotel is simply stunning. Situated right next to the beautiful South Beach, I found myself captivated by the serene views. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. To make it convenient for its guests, the hotel serves food and drink on the beach or by the pool (full-service bar and food kitchen).
The service provided by the hotel staff is truly remarkable. Every stay, every time, every person I come across genuinely cares that guests have exceptional experience. I cannot praise them enough for their attentiveness and friendliness. The genuine care and dedication by the hotel management and employees are truly appreciated. (Honestly, my daughter thinks we are visiting distant family when we travel to Sagamore!)
For art lovers, you can't help but notice the incredible art displayed throughout the property. The hotel truly embraces a unique and captivating artistic ambiance, adding an extra touch of sophistication to the overall experience. Some art pieces are permanent and there are always new exhibitions that envelope the hallways and the showroom downstairs. (Some art pieces are available for sale if you decide you would like a keepsake!)
This hotel tends to attract a diverse and classy crowd, a blend of wealthy Europeans, Argentines, Americans, people with families. While hotel throws parties and is available as a wedding destination or for art shows, it seems to avoid rambunctious partying or drones of overintoxicated partiers. They are strict on smoking & marijuana policy, so you can enjoy clean air and all the therapeutic effects of the lovely ocean air.
My stay at Sagamore is always a perfect blend of relaxation, excellent service, and a beautiful setting. I am already looking forward to returning to this hotel for my next vacation. I wholeheartedly recommend Sagamore Hotel to anyone seeking a classy, memorable, and rejuvenating stay in Miami Beach.
A big thank you to the entire team for creating this truly unforgettable guest experience and for your exceptional...
