Talk about the worst travel experience. This was a nightmare from the very beginning. We were promised a completely different air bnb that was way nicer and right before our trip we’re got diverted to this place. Elevator was broken and we were on the second floor. Steps were fallen by apart and we almost slipped trying to bring our luggage up. The room seemed like they just did a quick spruce up but not really cleaning. We had to clean ourselves. Whenever you try to call someone you get no answer. There were no washcloths and luckily we brought our own. The shower had no door or curtain so we had to lay towels down on the floor to keep water from puddling. Went to wash my hands at the bathroom sink and the soap container had something in it that smelled like rotten eggs. I almost to threw up. Both tvs didn’t have any working channels and would come on and go off on their own. They also had a dehumidifier that you had to empty every few hours or the air would get uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and never book with...
Read moreWe got rebooked into this accommodation. Rooms are okay, they are spacious and not dirty. There is also a kitchenette which is well equipped in case you want to cook or store things in the fridge.
The location is great, walking distance to the beach and Ocean drive. Building is next to a construction zone, so be aware that there is loud nice after 8am.
There is no working elevator (and there are 3 floors + the pool is on 4th floor). If you are traveling with a lot of luggage, it's a pain in the but to carry it all upstairs, especially in the Florida heat. Also, they don't store your luggage at all and by the time we were leaving, there was no seating opportunity nor bathrooms in the "lobby".
There is a pool on the 4th floor which is great if you don't want to go into the ocean, but there is just a little shade and no shower to rinse off.
It's fine if you don't spend much time in your accommodation, but if you are looking for something more luxurious, I would choose...
Read moreThe location is excellent, but that’s where the positives end. This building is in the heart of South of Fifth—a highly desirable, walkable area of Miami Beach—but it’s been seriously neglected for years.
The entrance is nicely landscaped, but that’s just window dressing. The actual building is poorly maintained, with wooden patios on the side that are rotting and literally falling apart. These areas have become a magnet for sketchy activity, with homeless individuals and loiterers regularly hanging out, smoking pot, and creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for residents and guests.
There’s no real security, no staff presence, and no sign that management is interested in investing in upkeep. It’s clear that they’re putting money into appearances while ignoring real issues that affect safety and quality of life.
This could be a fantastic property if ownership took responsibility, but as it stands, it’s a rundown, mismanaged building hiding behind a...
