This would be a very strong positive review for Mike and his team in Milpitas mattress firm branch.

The story is quite long. To summarize, I visited Milpitas branch five times in total, because I always changed my mind and replaced the mattresses I bought. Mike did his best to make the replacement process smooth without extra charge. Each visit took a long time but Mike always showed great patience and care about my need. In the fourth visit, I was served by a lady (sorry not remember her name) and she was awesome too. Both Mike and his team are awesome!

Below are the details of each visit and the reasons:

First time: I found there is big thanks-giving discount and visited the Milpitas store. I bought two beauty rest hybrid king size firm mattresses, one to deliver to my current home address, the other to deliver to my second home address.

Second time: after the first mattress is delivered, I realize the mattress is too firm for me and I cannot sleep for the whole first night. I googled online and typically the mattress needs a 'break-in' period to make it as soft as in the show room. However, the one I bought is too firm and I felt I would be 'broken' before the mattress breaks in. So I went to the store to replace both the mattresses with the 'plush' version.

Third time: after the replacement, I googled online and see there are not many reviews for the plush version. It seems the model is not quite popular, so I decided to change again to be safe. This time I changed both mattress to the sealy exuberant model, which have many positive reviews.

Fourth time: after going back home, I regreted again because the mattresses are innerspring based. I did more research online and realized the sealy hybrid plush should probably be the best fit for me, so I decided to go to the store again. However, at the store, I learned that the sealy hybrid mattresses don't have the incentive of king for queen price, but the king size mattress is too expensive. So I decided to downgrade one of the mattresses to be queen size. The other one not changed.

Fifth time: after going back home, I realize there is one issue about the mattress replacement step, because the one I downgraded is the one going to be delivered to my second home address. Basically my current home would receive both mattresses, which is not as expected! So I went to the store to fix this. Well, this took a long time to fix, because basically we have to cancel the mattress order for my second home first, change my delivery address back, and then reorder the same mattress. Plus, the base is also different size now (remember my current home still has the beauty rest firm one delivered in the first visit, which is of king size!). In the end, we fixed everything with Mike successfully, and the sealy hybrid queen will be delivered to my current address, and the sealy exuberant innerspring one will be delivered to my new home.

What a great experience! I happened to stop at the Mattress Firm again. This was my sixth visit. But on this day, I was greeted by a sales person named Doaa Youssef. She was polite and friendly. I also appreciate that she was low pressure.

I had originally believed that I needed to spend $3000 - $6000 to replace my current mattress. I explained that I was on a budget for the next 8 months, but did not want to sacrifice comfort or mattress quality.

After some discussion, instead of replacing my California King bed, which would be the most expensive, it was decided to get a queen size for my guest bedroom that I could use until being able to spend more next year.

Doaa was very patient, and showed me several mattresses to help figure out if I needed a medium, firm, or plush. And since this was the Labor Day sale week, there were good deals to be had.

I walked about the showroom and looked at many of the nicer mattresses but they were all above my price point. Eventually, Doaa brought me over to the Sealy Sleepys models. I found the medium queen, shiny dark blue top with an embroidered leaf pattern to be comfortable and attractive at $1100. And with the $400 discount, plus a free motorized adjustable base platform (normally $300), I left the store (with included free delivery) for less than $800!
