Majestic Sun Condos — Local services in Miramar Beach

It’s not that the condo/complex are a total disappointment but it wasn’t great by far! We have been coming to Destin for 20 years and I have stayed in far better. It is extremely overpriced for what is provided or should I say lack of what is provided! The view from the balcony is BEAUTIFUL but too bad the one plastic chair and one lounge chair was all you had to sit in to enjoy it. They look like they come from a second hand store or something someone put out in the trash. They charge almost $3000 a week and this is the best you can provide for people booking with you…ridiculous!! The toaster is broken, the coffee pot is broken, there is ONE SKILLET, big enough to cook in. I will say that the above appliances did “work” but they need to be replaced badly. The guy monitoring the pool for bracelets is VERY RUDE!! We only had one parking pass and was sent to 4 different offices to try and get another. That’s not our responsibility to track one down! And no one was ever working at any of the desks. The only grills we could find were way off property, had to walk through the parking garage and jump the wall to get to them and by the time you got back to your room the food was cold!! Dirty furniture, bag of linens left on couch Bedroom by elevator so good luck sleeping. Dishes still had lip stains on them Dryer looks like its going to burn the place down; only washed towels and refuse to put anything else in those nasty traps. Dish washer has a broken wheel and a old diah pod stuck in it and hasnt been ran for who knows how long. Mold. Ax full of mold. Dusty dirty headboard - nasty sheets Lots of wear and tear, could use updating like the rest of the nice places "so the photo seems" It did the job for 3 nights and we will not be returning. Short in light switches Couldn't charge phone bc outlet didnt work. Cockroaches and pest control was here.

We drove 7 1/2 hours only to find that our condo had roaches. Disgusting. I did contact the maintenance dept and they offered for their staff to come spray with Raid. The pest company did come on Monday and sprayed for the roaches, however, we were still seeing a few live ones even after they sprayed. Housekeeping does a poor job at cleaning. The rugs in the kitchen had dead bugs up under the rugs. Clearly housekeeping just cleans around the rugs and doesn’t clean all of the floors. The counters were not even wiped down. The refrigerator had an odor and would not stay cold enough. We had hamburger meat and milk spoil. The master bathroom has 3 rugs and constantly has an odor.
