This place had a fine selection of souvenirs and stickers for it being their end of season sale but be advised you will pay 8.85% Moab sales tax and then an additional 2% âemployee serviceâ fee. Iâm all for tipping employees that go out of their way but my experience was far from âservice.â
When I entered the store, I didnât even know there was an employee there. I wasnât greeted or acknowledged in any way and just figured the employee was in the back. I eventually noticed an employee sitting behind the counter playing on his phone with zero care for what was happening in the store. Another group of visitors entered and he ignored them too. The only interaction we had was ringing up my purchase, which was all business, no pleasantries.
If youâre going to add a mandatory âemployee serviceâ fee, which you donât disclose until the transaction is final, it would be nice if employees were trained in customer service or did anything at all⊠other than play on...

I went in earlier today and sampled a cologne, I wasnât sure about it so I left without purchasing. On my ride out of town I couldnât stop admiring the smell and I had to have it! I couldnât remember the name or brand so I searched for their store online and stumbled on their instagram. I reached out to them not expecting a reply because I didnât even know the name of the cologne or any details other than it smelled good. They wrote back and sent photos of their selection and I was able to figure out which one it was. The fragrance wasnât on their website but they added it just so I could purchase it! That is A LOT of hoops to jump through for a cologne purchase. I canât say enough about this place, if youâre visiting Moab definitely...
   Read morePro: Found a great discount on shirts. CON: The isuue is that a "2% Employee Service" charge (aka TIP) was automatically added to the receipt without approval or authorization. I was told the total, the sale was processed and the receipt was placed in the bag. Had no clue until the next day when I pulled the receipt out of the bag that I had been charged extra. The sales person did nothing but ring up the sale. No advice, no extra assistance, just sat at the counter waiting on us. So sick of everyone wanting a tip for showing up to work and doing what you are paid to do. Plus a terrible business practice to automatically add $$ to a receipt without prior approval....
