Mattress Firm River Highway — Hotel in Mooresville

I have been blown away by my Top Notch quality experience from start to finish with my new mattress purchase at Mattress Firm, Mooresville, NC! From taking up a great deal of the store managers, Michael Blank, time of initially walking through the door to walking out three hours later, Michael never once got testy with me! I went in thinking the prices were too high for me but he taught me that I would get what I paid for which is what I knew already but listening to my true needs, he was able to stress the importance of a mattress that is excellent but I had passed it over thinking I could not afford. But indeed I could afford it, especially during the Fourth of July sale! However, Michael was NEVER PUSHY ONCE! But luckily for me, he convinced me that if I put everything on Mattress Firms credit plan, which is Excellent, I DID NEED THE FULL ADJUSTABLE FRAME! While currently waiting on a full hip replacement AND having a Chronic back problem, no one needed this full adjustable base more than I. I have to spend 75% of my life in my bed! And I had waited 11 years before I realized it was past due for a new mattress! I feel strongly that I purchased a top quality mattress from a company name that has been around for at least 50 years. And the adjustable base has Already eased the pain in my back. But, For 3 hours Michael dealt with me in such a gentle manner!!! He had a house full of guests and we had all come in at the same time! And right when his own dinner was delivered!!! I knew he was starving! I am the one who felt I was wasting his time! I am SO GLAD I DID NOT ORDER ONE ONLINE. I needed that excellent special service that only Michael could deliver! I’m very very particular!!! I bought everything before I left that evening! Got credit in minutes, had lots of fun laughs with Michael and they delivered my new bed two days later! Thanks to a store coupon I received from MATTRESS FIRM I was able to order the headboard attachment for my customized headboard for free! However… the installation of said headboard I could NEVER HAVE ATTACHED MYSELF!!! So … Michael drove to store to pick up attachment on his day off then came over and completed the 1 1/2 hour installation job himself !!!!!! He brought his helper , Michelle his wife!!!!! Because the process truly takes several hands! Plus, my headboard was a “Dilly” to make it work!!! He had to move the screws to make it fit! Other problems arose, and he said no two headboards are alike. Plus he was working in a tiny space since my home is filled with things! He HAD to have Michelle hand him tools, etc. Even she knew how to install them!!! They even cleaned the floors before they left! I’ve truly found some Great new young friends and I believe that if there ever was something I was in need of those two would come over to help me! This is how kind they are. Come to find out Michael and Michelle are used to attaching these headboards because there are No Installation Divisions within the company! So this made me feel better for me but sad for them! Michael works long hours but he sells loads of mattresses! He seems to love his job. Not many people can say this. He definitely wears many hats! Hopefully this keeps things interesting each workday! Thank you Michael and Michelle!!! I love my new everything!!! My back and hip thanks you. I never believed I could have an adjustable bed but now I surely do!!!!! I would give a zero if there was an opportunity to. My request to replace our mattress was denied because it was supposedly within the range of normal wear and because of stains. My wife and I used to call one side of our mattress the “trough” because it was so deep. It was so low that you could literally not roll to the middle of the bed because the hump in the middle was so high. Even the third party contractor that took the measurements said “That’s quite a hump” when he saw it. It was impossible to sleep on it comfortably. In talking to two different employees of mattress firm, they both indicated that that was the original model of that particular mattress and they recognized there were problems with it. As far as the stains go, there were three very small blood stains that had absolutely nothing to do with the structural integrity of the mattress. You did ok the replacement of one of two box springs because it was so badly warped. No surprise that it was the box spring that was supposed to be supporting the mattress on the side that failed. It’s interesting that the first sentence of the letter that was sent to me denying my request for a replacement said “Customer satisfaction and product quality are top priorities at Mattress Firm.” That statement is comical. I could have had 100 people look at that mattress and all 100 of them would say that there’re was nothing right about that mattress. You should be ashamed...

Really disappointed with the service here. We were shopping for an elderly family member who needs an adjustable head base. Online, the bases were $299 and free if you bought a mattress that was more than $900. We went in and explained our situation, immediately were pointed at a $3500 dollar mattress and a base that was nearly $700. When we explained that we just wanted the adjustable head base and didn't need a mattress that was so expensive, we were told that the adjustable base we wanted would likely only last a year. When we asked if we could just look around and try out a few mattresses, we were told that "this isn't really a store you look around in, there all just rectangles". The salesman would not relent on the expensive base and mattress. When we told him we were looking for a full size, he told us that fulls were going out of style and we should really consider a queen or even a king. It was such an infuriating interaction that we left and went 2 towns over to huntersville where we had a lovely experience. In such a difficult situation, we really wanted to have an easy experience where someone could help us order something quick. This was not that experience and I dont recommend shopping somewhere where they spend the whole time trying to convince you to buy something expensive that doesn't really...
