Yesterday my family and friends came to send me off on a road trip. We arrived at 11:15 and didn’t leave until 1:30. We were offered to separate our party in 2 tables but one big table would be another 5 minutes. We chose to wait but it was way more than 5 minutes. When we were finally seated we ordered our drinks with our food and we didn’t receive our food until 1:05pm! We also didn’t get our food until I had to get the attention of someone and ask them where our food was!
My food was warm and delicious! Sadly my friends food looked like it was cooked first and sat under a heater because her food looked dried out and her spinach was wilted. My kids scrambled eggs were dry.
What made the wait/ experience worse was the AIR CONDITIONER was broken in the MIDDLE of summer!!!! So you could see the sweat pouring off the servers. Our entire party was hot and fanning themselves. If you are going to come to this restaurant even after this review DO NOT come in the summer! We also overheard the staff say that they owner knows it’s broken and is refusing to fix the air conditioner. My party wanted to LEAVE before our food made it out because the wait was RIDICULOUSLY long. I was worried it would possibly take longer to load my family up and go sit somewhere and reorder. Also one of my kids would have a hard time transitioning to another restaurant. The reason I gave two stars: 1 my food was delicious (but not our entire table) 2 our server Mike was amazing!!! You could see him running everywhere and still be able to bring us refilled drinks even with being busy. Even if he couldn’t make it with a refill he sent...
Read moreWOW!!!!!! We ate sunday breakfast here. This place has done a full 360!!! I've been coming into this location since pre-covid and this is by far the best experience I've ever had at this location!! From the door to the meal to the exit. So clean and a pleasure to sit down and be treated like a paying customer. I must shout out the kitchen staff. My food was soooo good!!!!!! I own a restaurant in Atlanta and I hold myself and my employees up to the finest standards in the industry. Our server whom I don't want to mispronounce her name, but I know it started with an L. She had so many tables she was juggling, but managed to deliver EXCELLENT service. If she ever moved to Atlanta I would be delighted to employ her! No offense IHOP. The manager who was kind of short (again no offense) had a bright smile when we walked in. Very welcoming. The sanitation grade was basically perfect. I see why!!!! The hostess were very kind and handled the door perfectly. There was another manager in there who wore glasses was very nice and paid attention to detail. He made great conversation and checked on every table int the place. There was a guy who was cleaning the tables with a great attitude and kept a smile on his face. Thats great customer service. Sorry for the extensive review, but from an owner I just wanted to let IHOP know me and family had a great visit. We will most definitely return when we come back into town!!
Thank you so...
Read moreFood was cold. Order was wrong. Server offered to correct it but in a manner where you could tell it was an inconvenience. Considering how long it took to get our original food I opted not to have it corrected. My friend's daughter choked on some of her food and threw up. We asked for some napkins to clean it up and got a nasty look. Seriously? We wiped everything down with sanitary wipes as we certainly weren't going to leave our mess for someone to clean up. That wouldn't be right. At that point our server made it clear that they were done serving our table and wouldnt even walk near us. Never came back to ask if we wanted anything else or if we needed refills on drinks until 30 minutes later. When we were ready to leave, my husband stood up front for 10 minutes trying to pay the bill. When my husband came back to our table I assume that he had paid. Nope, he had been standing there waiting the entire time. I took the bill from him and went up to the front and finally our server came to help cash us out. I explained how unpleasant the visit was and all she said was, in the most monotone voice, "I apologize". I really wish this was an exaggeration but that was the worst dining experience...
