I am a small business owner of a creative graphic design agency called Brandelle Designs. My iMac had been acting weird and running extremely slow these past few months. So slow in fact that it would crash everyday almost and take 20 to 30 minutes to restart back up. I found AppleJuice on Google, they have decent reviews and local to the Lake Norman area. So, I gave them a call. Marcus spoke to me and I told him about my problems. I suggested updating my RAM from 8gb to 16gb. He asked specific questions over the phone to diagnose the true problem and suggested that updating my hard drive disc to a microchip would be the ideal solution to my problem first. He said it would take about a week to order the part and get it delivered to his shop. Surprisingly, he called me that following Monday and said it had arrived! I took my computer up there at 10am on the following day to be repaired. In the shop, both gentlemen are very polite, knowledgeable, and focused! They estimated a pick up time on the same day around 5 or 6pm. But, Marcus actually turned it around sooner that! He called me around 2 saying it was ready. Upon picking up, Marcus told me he had also removed a bogus anti-virus software that was not running efficiently, and installed a free malware system in its place! This malware doesn't pop up on my screen all the time like the anti-virus did! Took my 2017 iPad Pro here after seeing good reviews on google. My iPad was completely not responsive when I gave for the repair and I've clearly mentioned that I would go for the repair only if the cost for the repair is less than $200. After 1 week of diagnosis I was told that the battery needs to be replaced and I was charged around 190$ for the repair. The iPad was fine for first couple of days and it kept restarting automatically. Since it was in the warranty period, I took back my iPad to apple juice and again after diagnosis, I was told that there is an issue between the motherboard and the battery connectivity and it will take another 200$ to get it fixed. I din't wanted to spend another $200 on an 3 year old iPad, hence I bought it back. After couple of days the iPad was completely not responding and when I took it back, after 1-2 weeks of diagnosis, I was told that the motherboard has issue and it would take another 200$ to get it fixed. I felt like people working here do not have proper knowledge on how to diagnose an issue/devices. Each and every time I took the device, I was told different reasons. Finally, I sold my iPad back to them for 60$ (I was offered 45$ initially and was given 60$ after 2-3 arguments) . I have lost 190$ which I spend on the initial repair. I meant to leave this review when I first had work done by apple juice in December of 2021. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. My Girlfriend has a 2011 MacBook pro that she loves but started having issues with a few years ago. I decided to take it to apple juice as they are right by my work as I am not familiar with Mac products. After talking with the team, I decided to update the ram from 4gb to 8gb, replace the battery and swap the hdd for an ssd. The quote for this was extremely reasonable, around $250 I believe.

Come pick up day, the team at apple juice boots the computer to go through everything with me, and something is wrong with the new SSD install and the laptop will not fully boot. They catch it while at the store and reinstalled a new one the next day, with no problems.

I get to the register and he rings me out at $180. I discuss this with him as he originally quoted $250 and we had agreed on that price and I was willing to pay that amount. He said that for my inconvenience (which was none) they had discounted the price and that's what they would accept. This was also before the original timeframe they had told me! 9 months later and her laptop works better than new.
