(My husband placed an online order, I was in the area so I went to pick it up). I’d like to start off by saying, as soon as I walked in the door, there was no “welcome to firehouse” as they normally do whenever anyone walks in the door; in fact, there was no acknowledgment of anyone who entered the building. I looked on the shelf for online orders(empty) I notice several people lingering by the counter, I made eye contact with another woman who informed me that she had already been waiting 30 minutes for her online order. We sat there, becoming increasingly frustrated as they took walk in order after order, made these orders & watched these customers eat & leave before we received our orders. I asked the woman what time her order was supposed to be ready & she said 12:30, then I asked what time it was(I left my phone in the car thinking I would be in & out), she replied 1:02. At least 3 more orders were put out after that, her name was called & she wished me luck as she left. 3-4 more people went to the counter & asked about their orders, some decided to leave & or come back. I finally decided to ask & it was still 2 orders away. I asked why all walk ins had received their orders before anyone who had placed an order. The guy behind the counter, as rude as they come, told me it was my fault for not coming & telling them I was there. I said, I’ve never had to do that, I just grab it from the shelf & go. We went back & forth about details for a minute & how they were out of an item from my order, I chose something else. He said my order was 12:55 & it was only 1:00. Now, I didn’t have my phone to check & no clock was visible but I know it was 1:02 when the woman told me prior to receiving her order. I wasn’t going to argue but he continued to say it was only 5 min late in a very condescending tone. It took everything in me to not lose my cool. I could go on about how rude he was & how my order was incorrect when I got home, but I’ll leave you with this, I will NOT be returning to that location. TERRIBLE...
Read moreFirehouse subs and the Hook and Ladder have been my favorite sub shop and sandwich for quite a while. Wasn't sure what I wanted for lunch today as I was headed to Lowe's and remembered Firehouse and got excited about getting a Hook and Ladder. Boy, was that excitement crushed! So uch so, I'm not sure if I ever want to go to any firehouse ever again! As I was walking in, one of the three employees I saw at the store was walking back in from disposing of garbage with one glove on and headphones in. Waited on him to take off the glove, not wash his hands, and take my order and hand me a tea cup. It was obvious by his banging on the keypad, with headphones, he wasn't happy to be there. Could hardly communicate my order to him because of the headphones and his tone! Got my order and asked for sauce. I couldn't remember the name of the sauce because it use to be setting out. After asking him a few questions trying to figure it out, he became extremely rode and calked me bro several times. At that point, I told him to forget it. I could hear him and his coworker talking about me. Finally another employee came out a d I asked if he was a manager. He responded he was and I asked him about sauce. He finally found what I wanted. After that I sat there as the 2 employees in front threw and kicked boxes and looked at their phones. There was plenty of cleaning that needed to be done but they didn't seem to care. Firehouse should close this site if they can't perform any better! Gives the franchise a...
Read moreI rarely post bad reviews but felt it necessary. We used to really like this location but haven't been here in awhile. I needed to go to the vitamin shoppe next door so this was an easy grab for dinner. First off, I was disappointed to see the sanitation score but I decided to give them a chance. The employees were obviously not happy to be working and they kept asking each other where the third employee was. While waiting to have my order taken, the employee didn't even acknowledge me. She wasn't in the least bit friendly when she finally took my order. I specifically said no cheese several times due to an allergy. Of course I checked my food before leaving and there was cheese on it. No apology, no explanation, didn't even say they would remake it when I told them. I had to ask the guy if he was remaking it. Another customer came back and said they didn't give him his chili and when they pulled it out where it was already put away they gave it to him and he said it was cold. No apologies. No offers for something else. The eating area was messy, containers spilled on the floor that hadn't been cleaned up. I will take my business elsewhere...
