Edit: I realized today that I needed to make an edit to my review. It used to be two stars and now, if I could give it zero stars, I absolutely would. In the years I’ve been coming to this location. I’ve had a single positive experience. It is always a battle getting prescriptions filled, and the people who work in dispensing make constant mistakes that they will never ever own up to. . You’ll get a different story when you call in depending on the person that you speak to. It will always vary. Do yourself a favor and find something better if you can.
There has never been a time when I have gotten a prescription filled at either this location or the other Walgreens location in Mooresville, where I haven’t had some kind of problem getting my medication filled, usually because of a lack of communication between the pharmacy and the doctor or the pharmacist and myself. I recently saw an article detailing how Walgreens is closing thousands of stores across the country and I have to imagine that the immense customer dissatisfaction likely is playing a role.. Read moreSLOW service for years now just about any time of day, inside and drive thru. It has gotten so bad I will not be returning. Only used it since it is 24 hrs and the other nearby one is closed on weekends. It took me 3 weeks and multiple calls and visits to get a simple prescription. Manufacturer was out so they just kept leaving it on hold until I finally requested a switch to generic. Home delivery request never was processed. Switched to in store and they kept saying oh the next shipment is coming without even verifying it was available. They could have solved it if they spent 30 seconds of time but don’t seem to really care enough. Waited 20 min in the drive thru line to finally get it after calling earlier, and they hadn’t even filled it despite telling me it would be ready an hour earlier. They made me go back through the drive thru line and I finally got my prescription 40 minutes later. This is not an isolated experience either. Though my insurance preferred pharmacy is Walgreens, I will be switching to another. Would rather pay more to not have to waste hours of my time...

I have been trying to get my medication filled for a couple of weeks now and first it was an insurance issue. Then after I uploaded my insurance info, I didn’t hear anything for days. So, I checked online and it wasn’t even in process. I had to select to refill it again and this time it said unable to process. I received no phone call/VM this time. So, I called the pharmacy to see what was going on and they said my insurance isn’t accepted. I told them, fill it without my insurance then and that I was never called about it. They told me they would and that they would have it ready by this evening. It’s after 9pm when I try to pick it up and it wasn’t ready. The guy at the counter said it was set to be filled on the 12th. So, now I’m waiting currently for them to fill. This was not the first time this has happened to me with this pharmacy.
