The hotel is clean and the staff are pleasant. However, the owners/management expect a lot from the guests: they post a full page of instructions advising you how to handle the garbage and waste from your room, how to obtain towels, and that guests are responsible for ordering any room cleaning a day in advance. You may find the shower toiletry dispensers empty, light bulbs burned out, and few toiletries at the sink (replacements must be requested), no cups for the water dispenser in the fitness room/ and no airconditioning in the fitness room. Apparently, there is no maintenance staff on the premises- so guests are responsible for keeping the staff advised that maintenance is required for clogged toilets & sinks, burned out light bulbs- the best the staff can offer is to move you to a different room. This independently owned property charges Marriott prices, but does not extend BonVoy benefits to Platinum Members, nor does the property meet Marriott standards for hospitality due to their bare bones staffing and approach to providing in room amenities.

This is a very nice hotel, with very nice rooms. Most of the staff is very helpful and friendly. But beware if you need to stay here long term. They are very short staffed with housekeeping. After a week, I requested room service, and did not receive it till six days after that. The manager actually cussed at me about having to clean my room, and didn't even bother to vacuum it. As a paying customer, I feel extremely undervalued and ill treated. Never would have expected this level of service from the Marriott brand.

I would really like to rate it higher but our room smelled like wet dog. There was unknown remnants of what could be dog poop next to the desk. I covered it with some kleenex. I would have taken time to tell the front desk but we were in and out of room for a funeral. The carpet needing cleaning badly and the light bulb right outside the bathroom was so dim it was useless. The bed was not very comfortable either but pillows were good. I am accustomed to a better stay with a Fairfield.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I arrived early, I requested a early check in. Sometimes I feel the clerks get annoyed when I do this but the clerk that assisted me was super friendly, explained that they were short handed and my room may not be ready at this time. Which was fine. However she was able to accommodate me. I was so relieved because I was wore out from my travels. When I got to my room it was clean and nicely set up. It smelled nice too. One thing I noticed was antibacterial wipes and Clorox wipes we’re on every cleaning cart the housekeepers push around. I watch one house keeper wiping the elevator buttons down with them, and another one was wiping door knobs down. That made me feel so much better about the cleanliness of this facility. The breakfast was pretty good too. The next morning when I came down the clerk pointed me to the breakfast area. I went to get me some coffee and a little housekeeper was there wiping down the coffee or cappuccino machine with antibacterial wipes! I was blown away. I have had to travel a lot during this whole Covid-19 pandemic and I have never seen housekeeping staff wiping down high touch surfaces so frequently while being understaffed. So I was highly impressed and happy with my stay! I approached Kayla the housekeeper that was cleaning the breakfast area and thanked her for her extra hard work. She was very nice and told me no need to thank her, that she was just doing her job and if she was a guest she would want everything to be wiped down and cleaned. She asked if I needed anything and if everything was up to my standards. I told her everything was perfect. Such a nice young lady. Their gym was nice and clean as well! I took a dip in the pool. It was a little cool but the staff didn’t mind turning the heater up for me. It was very relaxing. They have a chair that can lower a disabled person into the pool. This made me so happy. My mother is handicapped, and enjoys pools but so often can’t get in them because of the accessibility. When I slow down and get to take a vacation I plan on coming back here. Mainly because the staff are very accommodating, kind, and the cleanliness of the hotel. But the handicap chair by the pool sealed the deal. This place is great and for the price I feel like it can’t be beat. Thank you Selena, Kayla, Donna, Jimmy and the other workers that I didn’t get the names of. You all are doing a great job and made my stay...

My sister-in-law booked my pregnant wife and me a room (in our name) at this hotel for a weekend visit since it's conveniently located across the street from where my sister-in-law lives. She is a state employee and used her employer's travel portal to book the stay.

We arrived at check-in, and were informed (via a policy very rudely thrust in our faces) that we needed to produce a government employee ID. No worries--my sister-in-law lives nearby and is able to produce the government ID that was used in booking the stay.

Another policy was fabricated: The government ID must state an address at least 50 miles away from the hotel.

What if my wife and I stayed at my sister-in-law's house and my sister-in-law stayed in the hotel room that she booked? This solution was also rudely shot down. I really can't overstate how rude the front desk staff (it may have been the manager) was. It felt like a hostage negotiation, even though both my wife and I were more than willing to abide by the hotel's policies and were simply looking for a solution.

We were offered the room at $700 a night, which is what we were told was the going rate (despite that we could have booked the room again online for about $10 more than my sister-in-law had paid). Otherwise, we could cancel the stay, for which we would be charged a one-night cancellation fee.

After getting Marriott Corporate involved, we were able to cancel with no cancellation fee, but our interactions with the front desk made such a bad impression on us that we ultimately decided not to stay there even after Marriott Corporate tried to make it right. Marriott apparently has very little control over policies that their operators enact. We ended up sleeping on my sister-in-law's couch for the weekend (the nearest Marriott with available rooms was over 50 miles away).

I can't speak highly enough for the Marriott Corporate customer service folks, but would never even consider staying at this hotel despite the...

We stayed for three days. Very pleasant staff, rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. I loved the comforters they were so soft and fresh smelling! We just had a couples getaway. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great, considering it’s free. It was a lot better than some of the other hotels we’ve stayed at. I stopped one of the housekeepers and asked her where we could get a good pizza. She suggested Jett’s and it was great. We also enjoyed the heated pool. It was a little cool but we asked the front desk lady if she could turn it up. She had to get maintenance to turn it up for us, she was busy checking people in and out but was able to still help us. It’s small but there wasn’t many people at the pool so we really enjoyed it. There’s plenty of room in the pool area for sitting. The gym was very clean and had plenty of equipment and free weights. We have already scheduled for another stay here. I can’t wait to come back and relax some more! Thank you ladies for your hospitality, kindness, cleanliness and professionalism everyone of you...
