TJ Maxx has been in Mount Pleasant for as long as I can remember. It's always been a hit or miss. Today in particular marks the day that I will never come back to this establishment. I came looking for an Easter Sunday dress found several and went to the dressing room. Upon arriving to the dressing room I was not greeted by the attendant who looked very pissed off to even be at work today. I finally told her I have 6 items and what she walked over and looked at them and then handed me a pass without saying anything. After trying on all six dresses in terrible lighting I didn't find anything that I liked and exited the dressing room with the intention of searching for another dress. As I walked out holding my six dresses there was a new attendant for the dressing room. I profusely apologized that none of them we're going to fit. She looked at me and said it's fine with an attitude grabbed my dresses and turned around. I work in retail and have for over 15 years - anytime a customer is not satisfied or able to find something I go above and beyond to ask them if I can assist. I understand that TJ Maxx doesn't have its employees on commission but what's the point of having attendants if no one's willing to ask if you need assistance, another size, any of the above. I'm not someone who needs constant attention when shopping but prefer to be in an environment where the employees are friendly. Because of the consistent attitude of everyone I came in contact today I will no longer be shopping at this location. The store itself has a good selection of stuff but it is very unorganized at this time. Another thing to note is it's pretty hot inside of this store and is extremely hot in the dressing room. The dressing room doesn't appear to have been cleaned in a while and reeks of body odor. Overall I'm super disappointed and guess I will be going to Marshalls...
