Currently the rating is 2.9. I would not recommend this place at all. Got chocolates from behind the counter. As the girl was getting the chocolates she was getting them without gloves then one fell on the floor and they still gave it to me. It was less than a second on the floor however, thank goodness I looked at it before I left because there was hair (or carpet, I just know that it was not supposed to be there) on it. Then as I was leaving I was being followed out the store...to make sure I do not steal anything sadly the person who followed me was a young African American female as well (the only one there). Please do not come here...like who still follows people out the store. I said to myself I was going to come back and get a shirt before I even paid for my purchase I'm glad I didn't get everything at once. Apparently this is not the place to be since it has bad ratings.

In response to the owner's comment: Your lead gave the "ok" on still choosing to serve me those dropped chocolates. (WHY DID I HAVE TO ASK FOR ANOTHER ONE?) If they never did I surely would not have given a bad review even if you did follow me out the store. Furthermore, if accidentally knocking something over without breaking it and putting it back in its proper place is what you call causing a scene I will gladly return and knock some more of your stuff down and show you what a real scene is! Give you some real work to do in that overpacked...

Super cute souvenir shop that we happened upon by accident, but I am so glad we did! We bought our trip trinkets for a fraction of the cost here. We only spent $115 and came out with a ton of stuff. I got a new apron with a recipe for a crawfish boil on it. Super cute! We got some beautiful artwork. My husband bought a sketch of Bourbon Street that is beautiful for around $15, he got me a print of a female mardi gras model! We found bread pudding in a box (to make at home!), chicken & waffles taffy, alligator jerky, post cards, magnets, stickers, license plates, and so many more trinkets! It was great to find a place that wasn't crazy busy and way overpriced. The folks working there offered us praline samples and coffee, too. They were super friendly and very...

HIGH PRESSURE SALES. My wife & I visited Sunday 2/14/21. We found that they have a very good selection of unique items & are one of the few places open on a Sunday morning. The staff was very friendly but very high pressure sales- like they're on commission. Some of the prices are fair, some are high. At the register, they rang it all up but didn't give us a total. When we got in the car my wife noticed you couldn't read the receipt, like the ink was almost out. The total was hand-written. We added up all our items & came up about $4 extra that we couldn't account for, even with adding 10% for tax. If you buy have a basic total figured before you pay & make sure their total matches. They never gave us a total at the register. Kinda...

I have been to the city of Natchez several times now and decided to make this one of my stops on my most recent visit. The store is not very handicapped accessible, and I am assuming it was the owner of the store that stayed glued to my side pointing out things, which made it difficult to move around. Lots of reasonably priced items for sale. I picked up a tea towel, a handkerchief and some water. I am not sure if I will make it back or not next time I visit the town.

Situated conveniently between the visitors center and downtown on Canal Street, you don’t want to miss cute little Old South Trading Post! Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by the owner and offered free coffee and fudge samples which we accepted. There was a wide variety of items through which to browse- from whimsical to elegant. It’s a fun place to visit so go!
