First and foremost the staff here are all very kind and are honestly the only saving grace of this whole hotel. If not for them this review would easily be a one star. To start, out first room had a shared hallway with another resident behind a shared door which felt incredibly awkward. When we got to our room it was just bad. The room was dirty, and terribly put together. There was stains on the walls and bed sheets. Whenever we stay at a hotel we always inspect for evidence of bedbugs which this room certainly had a lot of. There was what appeared to be bedbug feces on the back board, under the bed and over the wall especially near the vents. We asked for someone to come and take a look and they were quick to move us to a new room (again staff was phenomenal) our next room was not great, but also not AS bad. This room also had what appeared to be bed bug fecal matter but we were told that it was paint (though I don't agree with this, but at this point we needed a hotel and this was our only option) The staff also had the room mopped and blankets charged before we stayed in the room for three nights. On our first night we saw a bug run down the wall and behind the bed board. Over the weekend I did experience some type of bites on my ear and back. In the bathroom there were nats all over the sink. On the curtains in our room there was squished bugs (they did not appear to be bed bugs thankfully) The rooms themselves are quite small as expected with any NYC hotel. Would we stay again? If the hotel itself got renovated, absolutely because the staff was that good with their mannerisms. Other than that no. Also the elevator is absolutely terrifying sounding.

Two friends and I stayed here for two nights last week. What a great place to stay in the city!! The staff at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! We lucked out because our room was ready when we arrived early in the day. We were planning on checking our bags, but were able to check in early. :) Check-in was so quick and easy. We stayed in room 304, which is a corner room that can be adjoined with the room next to it, if necessary. (Good to know for the future if we come with a larger group.) Our room had two queen beds. The bathroom has a very deep tub. Everything was very clean when we arrived. Other than the noise from a couple of sirens one night, it was quiet for a room in NYC. The only thing that was a little obnoxious was the lighting in the room. There were these push-button switches labeled for Main, Entryway, and Sconces (by the headboard). They'd be on, then would randomly shut off. In the a.m., the entire room would automatically light up at 7:58. We'd no idea what the rhyme or reason was to this, and never cracked the code to have them just be on or off when we wanted them to do so, but it wasn't a deal breaker for the trip. :) We enjoyed the rooftop. There's a good view of the Hudson River from there. There is a seating area where we hung out with snacks and drinks one night. On our check-out day, we were able to leave our bags while we went out for the rest of the afternoon. (There is a very reasonable $2/bag fee.) We would absolutely stay here again.

For the most part I'm honestly satistfied with my stay at this hotel. Pros * Location great, not far from Times Sq. and Penn station. Lots of restaurants around. * Upon arrival, my key card didn't work and the staff fixed it and sent someone up to confirm it worked which was really nice. * Rooms are HUGE and spacious. Lots of space to open suitcase and lots of desk space. * Room came equiped with a microwave and mini fridge which was convenient and nice to have. * Everyday of my stay, house cleaning cleaned my room. I did not have to request this. They also worked around my schedule un-asked, which made my stay even more satifying. * Lots of towels, soaps etcs provided daily. * Endgame was playing my first night which I enjoyed immensely. Cons * Rooms are not sound proof. I could hear my neighbours conversations, their music, TV, and even if they sneezed. I'm not sure if they were unnaturally loud or the proofing was bad. This made my first night's stay not that great. This improved after they left. * The room only had ambient lighting. The brightest lights were in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have a lamp or a task light so you can work if need to. * No ventillation/exhaust fans in bathrooms so if you like warm showers, prepare for foggy mirrors. * Shower floor tiles are black and show some signs of hard water stains. Would def recommend getting some disposable shower slippers for your stay. Overall, this was a solid stay. Would reccomend!

LITERALLY WORST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED AT IN MY LIFE ( I wish i was exaggerating). (not one to complain) CONS- Everything felt cheap and plastic, TV is there but no cable, None of the microwaves worked inside the room, Outlets were iffy some worked some didnt, Strong paint smell, Cheap shower curtain/rod, Attitude with some employees. PROS-10-15 min walk from Times Square, Great Pizza Spot in front of hotel, Beds were quite nice. (Story about me and my fiances TERRIBLE ONE NIGHT AT THIS HOTEL BELOW)

We booked this hotel back in November 23rd of 2024 for my fiance and I first ever trip together to NYC. We came upon these nice pictures of the hotel through Expedia and decided on going through with it. We arrived that night and received our room and the check in through the front desk wasnt terrible but it was the best either. I swear im not one to complain, because people have their good and bad days. Our first room we got we walked in and checked the entire room to come across a sink filled with brown dirty water. Once again not one to complain, things happen so i walked down to the front desk to politely ask for another room in which was very smooth and easy change. Second room, it was a nice space and a good view of the street and restaurants across the street. Everything was good except microwave in the room didnt work which is fine, the tv had no connection to any cable at all which was fine, but the room smelt like it was freshly painted and the shower curtain fell and broke off with very little tug. After that terrible 1st night we decided on not staying another night in which the manager politely told us he would refund us for the 2nd night and he was which very professional when we spoke to him. My fiance and i then book another hotel for that second night to all come down to months later ONLY BEING REFUNDED THE SECURITY DEPOSIT! In which we paid $450 basically just at this TERRIBLE 1- STAR HOTEL! Both me and Expedia have been trying to get in touch the past couple of months to try and receive a refund just for them to continuously get denied or rejected our refund for one night. Nobody from the hotel will answer the phone so basically $250-$300...

It was conveniently located and the staff were nice, but everything else was very bad. The room was in shabby condition with stains on the carpeting and the window shade, the lights randomly turned on and off by themselves, the shower tile had black marks all over it, and the shower head was spraying water where it joins the supply line. In general the bathroom was just gross. There was only one chair in the room, no glasses or paper cups that could be used in the microwave, and no body lotion (only two small bottles of shampoo and body wash). The lobby was tiny and only one of the elevators worked (it only held about four adults at a time). The only amenities were a gym in the basement and free WiFi, which didn't work half the time we were there. If all of that were not enough, though, there is also a restaurant that holds private events inside the building and our room was right above it. So, we got back to the room around 8 PM on Saturday night and very soon afterwards some godawful dance music started pumping heavy bass at high volume and did not stop until about 1 AM. I was unwillingly awake for hours. The next day we saw guys moving huge speakers out of the space. We hoped that was the end of it, but no, we came back later that afternoon and the music was pumping at even higher volume than the night before, which I didn't think was even possible without destroying the structural integrity of the building. The DJ was yelling and the crowd was cheering, while I was cursing and writing this review. Based on how loud it was in our room, I can only assume that the people at the event have permanently damaged their hearing. Perhaps this hotel is a deal when it's not the holiday high time (at least if you plan to only be in the room for a few hours at night), but I can't even bring myself to state how much the nightly rate was jacked up while we stayed there in...
