The Toy Vault at Emerald Square Mall — Local services in North Attleborough

Overall good selection of stuff to buy but I was disappointed with my experience trying to sell. They advertise you can sell them your toys and I brought in a lot of brand new toys and collectables never opened and worth a good amount of money. The staff was kind of rude basically saying they were gonna give me way less money than it's worth and I was feeling ripped off. I understand they need to make a profit, but I was a bit shocked how low they offer was for what I had. One of the employees then took pictures of the items and texted them to the manager of the store who responded to the employees to not buy anything of what I brought in for no apparent reason. I had brought 3 good sized boxes of toys that were stuff they say they're interested in buying and were in mint condition in original packaging! They would have no problem selling it and I was willing to take the small amount, much less then what they were worth but they basically told me my stuff was worthless and they then wouldn't offer any amount for them because the manager said no. It was a big waste of time and energy to bring stuff they claim to want to buy and then they insult with low price and then don't even offer after the fact. I understand they have the right to not buy anything if they don't want to but why even advertise buying stuff if you're going to not offer anything at all! If you're thinking of selling them your toys don't even bother, won't be coming...

I refuse to come back to this location. My boyfriend bought something of that was $79.99 for me. He didn't realize I already ordered myself one off EBay. It was maybe 20 minutes, we hadn't even left the mall and we went to return it. The item wasn't even new, it was opened and he just put it back in the box. He refused to give me the almost $90 dollars we spent on it not 20 minutes back. And had an attitude about all sales being final. The product wasn't even new. If it was new and i had opened it. Then I understand. But no, it was opened and had to be taken apart to be placed back in box. Avoid shopping here. I'd rather drive out my way then deal with people refusing to return my money.

Update: I'm sorry but to offer something else in the store as am exchange was not something we were even ok with. We came into that store for that single item. I wasn't event given a receipt for the sale. I think it is completely unreasonable to refuse a return when we came back in such a short amount of time. If I had known prior, I would not have wasted almost $90 dollars on this. I understand you or wish to display it. But opened is opened. That by definition is no longer factory sealed, or consider new by any form of retail. I live in Taunton MA, I'm unwillingly to travel back to this store and be forced to exchange this for something I won't...

Let me start off with this is one of the only collectables, toys, cards games and video games shops serving the surrounding area and much to my constant patronage over the year's i have only seen this particular location slowly and steadily become a shell if it's former self whether or not it's from lack of new and used products ,the customer service, the Managers and even employees ignorance of the products they provide and sell the condescending tones from manager's employees when asking about something they know nothing about or anything outside of there interests or from general lack of care for you or anything else not revolving around them. Good employees who knew the product's let go and or quit because of the for mentioned reasons this is not a fun place to shop anymore and has not been for a while i would take my business elsewhere.the owner is more then likely a good person but who he chooses to represent him and his business is poor.
