Staying at this hotel was a nightmare from the moment we checked in until after we checked out. My family stayed here while some work was being done on my rental, and the experience was terrible. The front desk employee was brand new and clearly hadn't received the training she needed—she kept looking for her manager but couldn't find him. I actually felt bad for her because it was obvious she was left to handle things without proper support.
The pools were closed due to a bat infestation, the bathroom was disgusting, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. I'm generally easygoing and understand that issues can arise, so I wouldn't have complained or written this review if it weren’t for how horribly I was treated by the manager, Eric.
There was a miscommunication with my landlord about who was responsible for paying for the hotel. I was told by the front desk that my room had been paid for by my landlord. My family ended up not staying the last night due to a family emergency. However, at 10 p.m., I received a call from Eric, the manager, asking if I was still staying at the hotel. When I asked why, he accused me of leaving without paying for the room. I explained that my landlord was supposed to have taken care of it, and that I wasn’t staying at the hotel anymore.
I asked him if he thought it was appropriate to call me at 10 p.m. for this, and he insisted it was because the room needed to be paid for immediately. I understand the need for payment, but the timing and accusatory tone was completely unprofessional. I had confirmed with the front desk before leaving that everything was settled, and they had my landlord’s card on file. The fact that I was called at all, especially at that hour, is baffling.
I told him that this could be handled in the morning, but he insisted it needed to be done right then. I finally told him to leave me alone and that I would call back in the morning to resolve it, then I hung up.
I am truly amazed that this manager thought this was the right thing to do, and I don’t understand how he still has a job treating customers this way and neglecting the hotel. Stay away...
Read moreI travel full time and basically live out of hotels, my favorite chain is Best Western but I would never stay here again. I had got a pet friendly room and was advised I would not be receiving room service for the duration of my stay(no issues there) however the next day I had left and when I came back I realized I had forgotten my room key so went to the front desk to get one and about maybe 20 min later I have a knock at the door and it's room service, Little perplexed, I advised that I had a dog and that there was no Do Not Disturb sign in the room, So they handed me one and I put it on the door. And about 30 min later I was laying down about to take a nap and there is another pound at the door, when I answered it was the manger fuming telling me they received complaints of weed smell in my room I advised her I wasn't smoking in the room and invited her in to investigate and she then sharply said to me if we find evidence we will charge you and call the cops. I was baffled. Even if I did smoke I am not 12 and wouldn't be stupid enough to smoke in a hotel room. Again I live out of hotels. This seems like common sense. Well the next day I had left for work and then noticed they had blew up my phone and so when I arrived I went to the front desk and they had some confusion with my extended stay using my points for another night, no bigbdeal however when I went back to my room the Do Not Disturb sign was gone and it felt like they had gone in my room. On checkout day at 9 in the morning I get another knock and it's room service again, I advised them I hadn't checked out yet and they said they would come back. I hope they had fun micromanaging me and hope it upset them when they realized I had not done anything wrong. If you want to be disturbed on a daily, micromanaged and feel uncomfortable I highly recommend this place. The...

The room I reserved was NOT an accessible room. Although I don’t mind accessible room this time I needed a sink IN the bathroom because of personal reasons. Called the front desk. She said “that is not an accessible room because of the hot tub in the room”. “ she would be happy to give me a regular room...even tho I paid extra for the hot tub room. So she said it wasn’t an accessible room but there are bars and a seat in the shower....there’s a doorbell outside of the room....and the sink was outside of the bathroom...so I was very inconvenienced. Another issue...we reserved 2 nights...we had the do not disturb sign up, because we didn’t want to be disturbed while in the room....when we were ready to leave for the day at noon. We called the front desk to tell them we want our room serviced, that we will be gone a few hours. They told us make sure to remove the do not disturb sign and anything personal on the bed...and we did....we were gone for 4 hours and instead of coming back to a nice clean room...it was exactly how we left it....called the front desk and the options they had was call back the house keeper and have them clean the room or have the general manager come clean the room. REALLY?!? We settled on new towels. And a 25 dollar discount +taxes. So don’t stay if you are planning a romantic getaway. But I recommend if you plan on just staying the night...as a stop over. And the jets on the hot...
