Do NOT do curbside pickup- they will NOT bring it out. You WILL have to go inside to get it. Use the drive through instead.
Ordered curbside pickup. Arrived at the advertised time my food was stated to be ready. The signs say to text upon arrival, and after texting- the text prompt stated my food would be right out. 3 minutes later another car pulled up to the curbside pickup spot next to me. We waited for nearly 20 minutes, all while servers were walking outside to bring food to people dining outside. So each time I thought, surely we must be next? Nope. Tried to give the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were busy…. But…. Customers going in and out getting food. A revolving door of Drive through customers having zero issues getting their food. A 3rd customer pulled up in the curbside pickup spot, however they didn’t wait- they immediately exited their car, walked into Kneaders, then 30 seconds later returned to their car and walked away. That customer must know that nobody comes outside to bring curbside orders. The car waiting next to me decided to go in after seeing the 3rd pickup order person do this. She was also out quickly with her food. They told me the servers claimed they were too busy to bring food out. She was very upset that her food had just been sitting out all this time and was cold, zero communication about it- she told them they should take their curbside pickup signs down if they won’t bother doing curbside pickup. Neither of us were notified that NOBODY would be bothering to bring out our curbside pickup order. I walked in to get my order and zero apology, she just gestured over to a rack and said “oh it must be over there” so it was all a plan to never bring it out period. A half hour had passed from the time I text I had arrived, breakfast time was finished at this point so I couldn’t get a new order of food made. Zero communication that I would need to go get my own food. I could have gone through the drive through multiple times successfully. Terrible service and they should not offer curbside pickup.
**Edit to say absolutely nobody from Kneaders has reached out to me after contacting them, don't be fooled by their response below to make...
Read moreI’m sad to write this one. Kneaders food is very good. But at this location, the service is soooooo slow. After four or five times of waiting in the drive thru line for 20+ minutes (and no, it was not a long line of cars), I felt it was time to review it here.
Now, I’ve been to other Kneaders around Utah and found the service to be much much faster. Same quality of food. Not here. Thus my review is based on the service rather than the food. What’s kinda aggravating is that once you get to the window, it’s almost as if no one had been preparing the order. You still wait. I understand there might be staffing issues, etc, but again this isn’t what I’ve experienced at other Kneaders. C’mon, NSL location— it can be better.
Update: sad to say it’s gotten worse. My go-to has been the turkey bacon avocado salad. In the past it’s been great. I got it with a side of rosemary bread. But the last three or four times has been kinda bad. On one drive-thru visit, they told us they ran out of lettuce. Odd. We left. Next, it was the avocados they ran out of. I still got the salad but…same price? Yes. Next it was the lettuce— at least 5 or 6 pieces that were almost rotten. Does anyone check the lettuce? Finally, I got a salad with all the ingredients, only to see the avocado slices numbered 3, totally a mass of avocado about the size of a quarter.
On each visit recently, the drive-thru has missed something or gotten something wrong. Wrong bread. Wrong drink. Missing utensils. Wrong dressing. Of course these aren’t found until I got back to the office or home so too late to get it corrected. Frustrating.
I WANT to love Kneaders again. I understand theres a staffing shortage or issues with supply chain. But…well… I don’t see it to this level at other places. Something isn’t right at Kneaders. I hope it...
Read moreI feel bad lumping on to an already bad night for the crew that was there tonight but the service was miserable. Maybe short-staffed, maybe there was no manager there, who knows. My wife ordered online and I was supposed to pick up the order at 6pm. I walked in to a lot of upset looking costumers surroundingthe counter. I asked a couple people if they had already been helped and they proceeded to tell me that they'd been waiting for closeto a half hour for their food. One nice lady even told me that I might not want to order because something was wrong with how bad the staff were struggling. I told her my food had already been ordered and paid for and I apologized if my order was holding up anybody else's that were looking they were on the brink of starting a riot. I approached the counter and had one worker after another walk past glancing at me but not saying anything. I literally had to start saying, "hey guys I haven't been helped yet," a number of times before being helped. I told a gal about the online order and she disappeared. Five minutes later a guy asked if I'd been helped and I told him about the order. He came back a few minutes later and told me the sandwich got messed up so he had to re-make it. While this was happening a guy pleaded for the soup he'd ordered 40 minutes prior and a couple asked if they could just grab the bakery items behind the glass they'd ordered 15 minors ago. Any staff member I made eye contact with looked like they were on the verge of tears. My order finally came out so I left with my 6pm online order at 6:20pm and got home to give my wife a wrong order... Her French dip sandwich somehow got "fixed and re-made" imo a roast beef and cranberry sauce...
