Let me start off by saying I am not typically the type of person to leave bad reviews, and only found it necessary one other time in my life to spend my time writing a negative review. I'm certainly not a Karen, I'm just wanting to voice my experience so that this location can be aware of it and hopefully improve it in the future. I had a 25 minute wait for 2 burgers, a shake, and a sweet potato fry. Only 3 cars in front of me (20 minute wait from the time I ordered). When I paid at the window, I was given my shake and asked to pull forward. I had to ask for my receipt, which is weird to me. I remember how stressful working fast food can be, but I always gave people their receipts. Anyway, after pulling forward and waiting, my car was blocking the car behind me who recieved their food, so I pulled into a stall and waited a few minutes. I went in to compare the price on my receipt to the menu since $20 seemed like a lot for that but it was accurate, just high priced for that combo. I let them know I was the one in the drive-thru, just waiting on my food. It didn't take too long until they handed me a bag of food. I checked it and saw there were regular fires instead of sweet potato, not a huge deal. I just let them know of the mistake. The girl apologized and said I could keep the regular fires while I waited. I thought that was nice and said okay. A few more minutes go by and I'm watching the line cooks make other peoples food. Several cars that were behind me or parked in stalls got their food and drove away. While I was standing there, I saw one of the female employees touching the outside of her mask to adjust it, with her gloved hand that she was handling food and money with, without changing them. I noticed sweet potatoes fries finish deep-frying, and the guy started putting them in the sleeves. I sat there for a few more minutes wondering when someone would remember that I was standing there waiting for those fries, even as they would glance at me and keep working on other peoples order. After about 5 minutes of that I asked someone if I could please hand me my sweet potato fries so I could leave. Someone bagged them for me and I left. It was frustrating waiting that long for fast food, especially when I'm bringing it home to someone. When I went back to my car the shake had already melted which just added to the bad experience. I should have gone to Wendy's or Taco Time because even with 10 cars in line, they would have been faster. I'll pick somewhere else next time, or just refuse to pull forward if asked to so that I'm not overlooked again. I wouldn't recommend this location if you're wanting your food in a...
Read moreThe family pulled up with a car full of hungry and picky eaters while we were staying nearby for the night. The gal taking orders was a newbie and still had a zest for life and smile that made us all believe we'd be in for a treat.
We had lots of milkshakes, fries, and a variety of burgers ordered and they were all good. The gyro had a ton of sauce which I would have loved but it wasn't for me and my nephew ended up throwing it away as he couldn't quite stomach all that sauce which broke my heart. I tried the Hawaiian Teriyaki Burger as did my sister and I thought it was good but not life changing. It was a little dry for my liking so I added some sauces which then made the pineapple a little too slippery to stay in the buns. Story of my life but I knew to put down a good base to catch what may fall so it was like a sweet pineapple dessert after the burger was out of the way. One tried the halibut and liked it, one had a corn dog and was happy with that choice. I think the rest were burgers and everyone left full and happy.
The service was good and there seemed to be a lot of workers there doing their thing. It didn't seem that busy based on the number of people inside but it was a little challenging to get the sauce dispensers filled up by someone. I'll just say that was a training thing as maybe the cashier is responsible for refilling them but had to wait for someone to show her. It wasn't overly clean but wasn't gross either. It just seems a little greasy and could probably use a good deep cleaning after flipping tasty burgers for a few years and having dirty handed customers touch everything possible.
Each meal was about $15 for a burger, fries, and shake and it seemed reasonable for the quality we received. I'd try it again if one was close but wouldn't go out of my way for it as there are lots of good burger places around and Apollo Burger didn't have anything that stood...
Read moreFirst time we came here they charged my husband for a drink, burger, and fries as separate purchases in stead as a combo like he asked for. Okay, whatever, it was probably an accident. I'll give the employee the benefit of the doubt.
Came again tonight. Pulled into the drive thru and waited to order we asked for a moment before ordering. We quickly decided what we wanted and provided it. However, there was no response from drive thru speaker. Waited and called out several times and no response. Waited and called out again. No answer.
We decided to just pull forward. We sat at the window watching what seemed to be a team of disorganized teenagers. When a girl in a giant oversized sweatshirt finally popped open the window. I explained the situation to her and she laughed and said "uh, that's his fault." And points to a tall boy with a headset "so he can take your order." Her, along with 2 other girls started yelling at him.
Are you serious?
The girl that met us at the window turned back to us and I'm sure after seeing my face, she smiled and offered to take my order. There appeared to be so much disorganization and/or distraction that I couldn't trust our order would be correct and to us in a timely manner. I get that a lot of businesses are severely understaffed and it's possible this location may be feeling the same strain. However, it does not excuse poor customer service and any sort of accountability amongst the present staff. This place...
