The manger was so rude at this location. I ordered through DoorDash for a pick up. It says it will be ready at 6:00pm. I went there at 6:30pm, said the order wasn’t ready. I asked if they know how long it will take. The girl said: I will let you know when it’s ready. So I waited in the car another 15 mins, went back in and waited to talk to them for another 5 mins. Finally the girls said my order got picked by a some one else and I have to contact DoorDash. I asked the manager, and the manager was very rude and told me o have to contact DoorDash and lied to me and told me my order was a delivery order. So it took me about another half hour to talk to DoorDash and they confirmed the manager was lying. They said they talked to the restaurant and confirmed t the order was sent as a pick up order, but somehow the employee of the restaurant gave my order to a dasher… But the only thing they can do is to refund me. And I can use the credit to place the order again…..I was starving and also missed the pharmacy time because of this. I was very irritated and don’t know what to do. If I placed the order again I have to wait probably another half hour to get it. Why am the one wasting all my time to correct their mistake? I decided to go to the resultant to talk to them again. Zupas is the resultant gave my order to the wrong person and made me waste my 1 hour to get this resolved but not. By the time I went to the restaurant, it was 7:30pm. And the manager saw me and rolled her eyes and told me, I’m making your order now. It sounds like she is marking my order for her pity…and no apologies. She insist that DoorDash delivery guy took my order. BUT! THEY ARE THE ONE GAVE MY ORDER TO THE DASHER....
Read moreThis is the worst Zupa’s we have ever been to. Our first issue happened a few weeks ago when they messed up on our order. We called and spoke to the manager to get a refund. The manager said we either need to call corporate for a refund or drive back down to the restaurant to have our food remade. No one wants to drive back down to get their food remade. This next time happened tonight... We waited in line for 45 minutes before ordering. The kids running the place were not efficient with their time. They were making to-go orders in between every order taking place inside. They made every single order wrong of ours to-go. None of our sandwiches had the multigrain bread. We told them more than once to make sure there was no tomatoes on our sandwiches. They didn’t listen to a word we said. Of course it’s not worth calling the manager to complain. We had 4 orders and all of them were messed up. That’s a lot of money wasted on overpriced food. Very unhappy. We will not be eating at this Zupa’s location ever again. We will make sure to spread the word of how terrible the the service is and how terrible it is to have your orders constantly messed up. Especially on my order... My “Ultimate Grilled Cheese” was on white bread and not on multigrain (I have Gestational Diabetes Mellitus and specifically needed multigrain), there was no zest sauce, and they added the tomato. We asked twice for no tomato. Basically... Mt sandwich was white bread and cheese. We paid $10 for that in a combo meal....
Read moreSpecial 2 for 9.99. Ordered (1/2 & 1 of 2) Steak Thai Power Bowl. Questioned cashier why there was $2 more added onto the Powerbowl making my $9.99 2'fer meal $11.99. She said the $2.00 additional (powerbowl) charge was correct!? Would they have charged me $2 additional for any half powerbowl? The sign clearly shows that one-half of a Powerbowl is counted as one of your two items. There definitely was a meager serving of meat in the bowl.
The salad and Power bowl both arrived with no sign of having specialty dressings. It appears Zupa's put the dressing in the Bottom of the plastic serving bowl. By performing a 'self-tossing' you may find scant liquid to blend (from the bottom throughout your salad). Doing so is messy with both plastic serving bowl and utensils. Tonight the dine-in AND order line were both overcrowded. No way to maintain 6 feet. A group of ten 8 to 10 year olds and their adult leaders arrived. No masks on any of the kids (maybe leaders as well). There was an uncomfortable number of guests without masks. I packed up and high tailed out after attempting to dine in. The restaurant got busier after we sat down to dine, otgerwise I wouldn't have entertained the thought. Crab, Avacodo.sandwich was good. I requested white bread and at first glance believed was served on the (two end) heels of bread from loaf. The bread worked out fine, after getting over the...
