I’m attaching a photo to this review, I ordered a 3 meat plate from the hibachi place and the guy hands me a rice container with beef and chicken. Tiny portion. I ordered three chicken, so I asked the guy if it was chicken - he said yes. I wasn’t blind it was clearly half chicken half beef, so two meats not three. Why lie? Just fix it. The kid went back and you could hear the owner/manager yelling at him that he got it wrong. The kid hands me back my plate still with shrimp and beef in the little rice bowl you’d get from a Chinese Take Out place. That tiny portion is their THREE meat meal? He handed me back basically double chicken so the manager again yelled at the kid, three chicken. He adds more chicken. I sit down and there’s still some beef and shrimp in my little rice bowl with my tiny little portions of chicken. Their sauce is good; that’s why they get two stars. Just wild this tiny portion is a three meat plate. Then I check out and the lowest tip you could leave before you get your food is 18% and I needed a receipt but the gal taking the order spun the thing around before I could ask for a receipt. So my tiny chicken and rice was over $30 with a can of Pepsi.
Then we went to the main bar under the roof. I was going to order a frozen margarita. The size of a $10 cup was like a tiny cup you’d get water in at a fast food place or for $20 you could get a tiny 8” plastic boot. We’re visiting from Texas and would never pay $10 for a portion that small. What is this a child sized margarita?? A margarita for ants?!
So it’s a neat atmosphere, and the other day for the playoff game it was packed, but be ready to pay the “food truck premium” and be at the mercy of out of control tipping culture. They couldn’t get my order right I never would have tipped 18% and that should never be the minimum button you can tip at a place.
I also saw a massive mound of white rice behind the counter but they’d only give me fried rice with my meal, she wouldn’t let me get white rice and then didn’t give me the extra teriyaki sauce I asked for.
Neat novelty, but be ready to pay a premium for the novelty. My friend got just a single meat bowl and his had just six tiny shrimp in it. A real bummer as the cap to...
Read moreGathered some friends and decided we will try out this establishment. We walked in around 6pm and it was absolutely packed. Children everywhere! We were party of 10 so not very easy to find enough space for all of us. We can’t do reservations, so we had to share a table with strangers - that was not a big deal. The atmosphere was horrible. It was so loud you had to yell at the person sitting in front of you to have a conversation. This is not including all the normal chatter you would get from all the patrons there. Music was diabolically loud. Felt like I was in a club not a “Truckyard” or a backyard gathering type of vibe the setting gives off when you walk in. Ordered watermelon margarita and It came in a baby cup, while my friend’s margarita came in a normal size cup! I got asked by the same server for my ID 3 times. I even made a joke that she can just keep my Id till next order and she said “I only have to ask for the ID once” with a slight attitude. I said “Oh really.. well this is the third time you are serving me” - not a big deal. Im not expecting to be remembered. There were a lot of people there.
I am pretty sure the establishment was way over capacity. I work in public safety and I don’t remember seeing emergency exits anywhere. Only thing I could think of in an emergency situation is jumping the small fence on the back side. Most of the time there was no one at the entrance to keep count of how many people enter and exit. Security was present and I appreciate it. They kinda blend with other’s and you probably wont notice them If you don’t pay attention to details.
Food was great. Had the smash burger and hotdog.
I don’t think I would visit again due to how loud and busy this place was. I might try to actually visit on a week day. Would not recommend bringing your dog with you either during busy times.
Not sure if the business owns the parking lot but paying...
Read moreUpdate: the area manager, Steve, reached out and was very nice and professional. He said he recognized the seriousness of it and apologized that it was not taken serious that night. The plumbers have been out to check the lines.
I would not recommend this establishment due to the highly unprofessional and inappropriate conduct of its staff and the lack of safety of their equipment.
On St. Patrick’s Day, my husband, daughter, her boyfriend, and I visited we spent about an hour and a half sitting around one of their fire pits, enjoying the atmosphere. Without warning, the fire pit exploded. Debris landed on my leg, and in my panic, my daughter had to lift it off. The blast’s heat also hit the side of her face.
The initial staff member who responded was not only unhelpful but outright rude, dismissing our distress and, instead of offering assistance, accused me of being rude. When I pointed out that their equipment had just exploded, her response remained the same. She then brought over Chris Higgens, who was equally unprofessional and failed to address the severity of the situation.
In the aftermath, I regret not calling the fire department, but I was still in shock from what had just happened. We chose to leave, and the next day, I discovered a cut and bruise on my leg from the incident. When I attempted to contact the establishment, the only person who responded was a manager from their Fort Worth location. While he made an effort to assist, there was only so much he could do from another location. He said he would contact the OKC location and ask someone to reach out to me. It has been 2 days and no one has reached out.
Given the dangerous situation, the complete lack of professionalism from the staff, and the inadequate response from management, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this...
