If you’re going to Oklahoma City and you want to have the time of your life, I think the Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay. The Hilton Garden Inn is conveniently located in the brick town District. We stayed here for parents weekend for the University of Oklahoma and had an outstanding time.

Overall I was pretty well disappointed in every way for The kind of money this place is. 2 room swaps in 3 days due to facility issues. Similar to the other diamond member posting 2 weeks ago, it was apparent the hotel was interested in trying to nickel and dime everything And it's exceptionally evident when it comes to parking. The reception staff was really nice, the rooms were clean even if a little dated. The parking situation thoug is pretty miserable. You either choose from a $36 a night parking lot next door, $25 valet parking or a parking garage with a broken elevator that randomly charges different prices every night even though the hotel tells you it's $5. The parking alone would absolutely earn a two-star deduction. This hotel isn't even in the core downtown area, this is on the outskirts by the ballpark and $25 a night for valet on a Monday or $10 for a parking garage on a Monday night is completely absurd. I street parked for free half a block down the road when I could. Edit: I'm reducing this another star to the lowest rating simply because the hotel parking especially on a weekend is catastrophically bad unless you want to pay for valet parking for 5 hours before an early morning flight. In hindsight I should have done the valet parking because it took 20 minutes to get to the top of the only parking garage nearby That's already overpriced for what the hotel should be offering. Every time I come back to this place and see the parking situation and know that I had three rooms I'm more infuriated about my stay here. The other issue I had with this hotel is I was given the diamond member complimentary upgrade to the top floor to overlook the ballpark, but the room "upgrade" actually just presented the parking lot next to the park, that was filled with construction equipment and garbage. On top of this the room had an air conditioner that was clearly tearing itself apart as the blower motor was surging every time it made a rotation and left me with basically one full restless night before I switched my room. An even bigger problem arose with the new one, The new room smelled like stale chemicals and all the drawers and everything were open, extremely evident there was a recent bug spraying/fumigation. No biggie... Except all the bedding smelled that way too. Cue room change again for the third time in 2 days. The guest staff offered points but still would have preferred not to stay here. If I had to do this again I would absolutely consider another hotel. It really makes me wonder how this place has a 4.4 star review on Google when this is absolutely a mediocre experience at best. Next time I'm in Oklahoma City I'll be searching for a hotel elsewhere to use my diamond goodies at. Honestly for the money ($100+ a night) diamond member or not reward points or not, this place isn't worth your time unless you feel your most valuable money spent is great reception staff because that's the only thing I can compliment The hotel properly on. So to sum this up, the good, hotel staff seems nice and are willing to help, the bad the parking situation and the facilities need some work.

The restaurant staff is great. However, my understanding is the restaurant is not part of Hilton which is probably why the Hilton front desk staff is so rude. Multiple issues with front desk staff interactions in a negative fashion. From the very beginning. All the front desk staff are rude and quick with smart remarks. On top of that don't come here thinking you're going to be able to charge your phone on a USB plug in any of the rooms they don't have them according to the front desk staff "they're old school". As a Hilton Honors Owner Diamond Member, I am appalled at the treatment. I would highly recommend steering clear of this location. There are plenty of other locations such as Hampton Inn Bricktown, including another Hilton right down the street. Absolutely avoid Hilton Garden Inn and Hilton Homewood Suites as they are both in the same building. The carpeting in the rooms appears to be over 15 years old it is drab and dated same as the rooms. Ultimately I have learned over the years that quality service starts at the top so my guess is the general manager of this location has issues as it shows all the way down to the bottom.

I stayed for one night in late June 2024 at the Hilton Garden Inn Oklahoma City Bricktown. My stay was adequate. I'm been at plenty of worse hotels and plenty of better hotels (including better and worse Hiltons).

The lobby, the area near the bar/restaurant, and the area near the fireplace all looked impressive.

The room was generally fine. I distinctly recall the carpet in the 2nd floor hallway looking very dated, but the furnishings in the actual room looked reasonably modern. The maids could have done a better job cleaning the room though. There was a random hair on the bathtub, and the door frame in the bathroom had a lot of red smudges that looked like smeared lipstick or mascara. I could hear noise coming from the vent - I'm not sure if it was coming from the pool (below us) or from the nearby stadium. My roommate initially didn't notice the noise but once I mentioned it to him and he was aware of it, it became very hard for him to ignore it.

There are three hotels right next to each other. Hilton Garden Inn is in the middle and their sister hotel, Homewood Suites (also by Hilton) is connected and to the east. Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites share the same valet parking area. There are two entrances so make sure you enter the right one. However, the hotels are also connected inside so you can easily go to the other one from the elevators. There is a third hotel, Hampton Inn and Suites which is to the west of the Hilton Garden Inn. These two hotels are connected internally (there is a connecting hallway in the back).

Any of these three hotels is in an ideal location if you want to explore downtown Oklahoma City and especially if you like baseball games or fireworks because it is right next door to the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, home to the minor league Oklahoma City Dodgers. I'm not actually interested in baseball so the fireworks and the stadium noise was more of a negative, but if you like that sort of thing then the Hilton Garden Inn (or any of the two neighboring hotels) are in a prime location.

These hotels are also good for exploring downtown Oklahoma City, with a lot of restaurants and bars a short walk away. My understanding talking to the locals is that for some events (like baseball games) the area is packed but during the rest of the year it can feel a bit empty of people.

While this Hilton Garden Inn would get a 4 or 5 stars for location if your focus is baseball or downtown entertainment, it gets knocked down to a 3 for me because of the parking situation. There aren't many good parking options in the area - no street parking. As other reviews have mentioned, the only option is valet parking (or a parking garage some blocks away). I didn't actually drive but I had a friend who had a rental car and it was a pain for them. If you plan to make lots of short trips (such as going to the airport multiple times to pick people up or drop people off), then you have to go through the valet process (and wait for your car) every...

I booked a room for me and my mother to celebrate her birthday. On line it was suppose to be a deluxe room hence why they charged more but the room was just regular which was fine but my biggest issue came with parking and the horrible customer service I received after.

The valet parking is nice however it's the ONLY option unless you want to pay daily. They automatically charge the valet parking to your room when I wanted to pay cash for the very reason I ran into. I checked out on Saturday morning. On Monday I noticed I was charged twice my full amount including the valet parking and then a second amount for just the parking. I called and the receptionist said no worries it's just a hold that will fall off after 3 business days. Well I call them on Thursday when I see the charge is still there and I was told to call back on the morning

So Friday (now an entire week since I last stayed there) and the additional charge is still on my account. I called and spoke with Gracie who was extremely rude, she wouldn't even pull up my account she just said there wasn't an issue and tried to argue that I wasn't double charge then when I asked for a supervisor she hung up.

After waiting an hour I called back and spoke with Brittney who said they released the hold and I need to wait another 3 days. I explained how I travel ever week for work and when I get to my new destination I will need to rent a car and hotel room there and this hold that they have on my card is affecting that. It's already been over a week 7 business days and they still have a hold on my account. The final amount has already been charged and taken out so why is there still a hold and why is their staff rude and unhelpful?

So needless to say I will never book another room at any Hilton location because they don't know how to treat their customers. I also will make sure when making arrangements for my company we don't use any Hilton either.

Again a big thank you to Gracie for being the best at being rude, nasty, and disrespectful you are the epitome of horrible...
