They're donuts, yes. Swiss... well, not so much. Perhaps it should be Asian Persuasion Donut. *SIDE NOTE- I'm Okinawan, not racist. These are my people. I'm sure there's a story behind the name but who really cares? The focus here is on incredible fluffy pillows of delicious confectionery goodness. These are my favorite donuts in town. I was a Krispie Kreme-aholic but I had an intervention and I'm converted. l pick Swiss Donut. Now someone baptize me in a font of icing. Hallelujah! So, the employees always say "See you tomorrow" to everyone as they walk out the door. I would always try to beat them to the punch. I usually lost. Now I just say it when I walk in. People who don't know look at me like I'm crazy. I digress. Best donuts in...

If you ever find yourself wide awake at 5:30-6am -THE ONLY FRESH -STRAIGHT OUTTA THE FRYER (are donuts even fried??? 🤔) DONUT SHOP worth driving to in Palm Springs in the weeee EARLY AF hours of the morning is SWISS DONUTS!!! I’ve been going here for 15+ years, always the same friendly people working (and I am NOT a morning person, but they always get a smile out of me!) Hands down you cannot go wrong- I’ve noticed around the valley several donut places called “Swiss donut” not sure if it’s a chain or same owner… BUT, THE ONLY ONE I GO TO IS ON SUNRISE & RAMON Rd.!! The others, even with the same exact name are not nearly as good as the one in that little strip mall!! Hands down, THE BEST DONUT...

ONE SUGGESTION, If you are going to order more than 2 Dozen Donuts, call your order in the day before, so that others who come the next day won’t lose out on the donut (s) they want. I only buy 7 Donuts plus a dozen donut holes each week. Have been a patron here for many years and once a week, ever since the Pandemic began. The list of favorite donuts are: Devils Food, Orange Cake & Raised, Raspberry Jelly, Cinnamon Twist ( Large Only ), Apple Fritter ( They made Fritter Holes a couple of times and they were the bomb ), Glazed Donut Holes and Apple Bearclaw. Never had their Breakfast Sandwiches. Never been to any other location often enough, to see if they are as good as the Sunrise and...
