There’s good news and there’s bad news. ||The good news is, even though I was skeptical about all of the five star reviews, everyone was right. Jason sent me a text letting me know which room I was in, and it was a beautiful very spacious room, very clean, a great kitchen with champagne glasses, a toaster, a microwave. ||The bathroom is very large, the water is hot and the pressure is good and the towels are thick and fluffy ||The bed was nice and firm like I like it, there were plenty of outlets for all of my electronic devices, and the air conditioning was spectacular, and considering it was 110°, what more can I ask for? ||Paid around $115 a night from Monday through Wednesday???||The pool was bathwater, warm and open till 10 o’clock and it was very close to downtown Palm Springs where there was food everywhere ||Did I mention it’s adult only, which means no screaming kids, and it’s dog friendly?||Now the bad news. Enjoy this wonderful property while you can, because pretty soon it will be the talk of TripAdvisor and you won’t be able to get a reservation and you definitely will not be getting the price....
Read moreWe booked a last minute room, literally needed it within hours, and they were able to have it ready earlier than check in for us. Troy and Jason were not aware of this, but my husband and I were in the desert (from Idyllwild) for a doctor's appt and a snow storm was supposed to hit the mountain that evening and overnight. I was due to start my first chemo appt the following day and we were afraid the snow would prevent us from making the appt; hence the last minute need for a room. Emotions were high for us due to overall circumstances and I was desperate for rest after that morning's appt; not to mention the anxiety of starting chemo the following morning. The room was so perfect and comfortable that it really allowed us to relax, breathe, and mentally and emotionally prepare ourselves for the following morning. We are so grateful. If any other overnights are needed for the rest of my treatment, our first call will be to this lovely inn. I know you didn't know, but Troy and Jason, you gave us respite when we needed it and it was everything for that one...
Read moreWhat a gem of a place this is. Location is absolutely brilliant, within walking distance of fabulous restaurants, the main street and the wonderful Thursday night markets. We found Old Ranch Inn to be very Palm Springs and loved that it was adults only. There are only 8 rooms and this makes it even more special. It's quiet and very well appointed with cute kitchen appliances. The pool is lovely, with great lounges and pool "toys" if you wanted to use them, I absolutely loved that there was a cold water machine near the pool, others may think this isn't much, but to have cold water on hand on a warm day was the icing on the cake. The view looking from the rooms to the mountains is spectacular. Room 8 looked like the room to book and this is what we'd choose next time, and hopefully there will be a next time, the view from room 8 is incredibly. Communication and check in was easy and the staff lovely. It was our first time to Palm Springs and we were so happy we chose the...
