Our stay at Amin Casa was an absolute delight. Everything about this special place is absolutely first class. The sense of history, with Gloria Swanson’s Hollywood photos on display, adds to the intrigue and ambience. Oh, if these walls could talk.||We stayed for five nights in bungalow number five, which is located adjacent to the pool, cabana, and hot tub. It has huge windows and is bathed in natural light, which was great for us. The decor is a bit more contemporary, and every detail has been carefully thought out by the innkeepers. This is the most comfortable, luxurious, and complete guest house that we have ever stayed in. We made freshly squeezed orange juice every morning from the abundantly fruiting trees just outside of our window - the fully equipped kitchen was great. ||The innkeeper Nelson made us feel comfortable from the first moment that we walked in the door, and it really felt like home. Compared to other properties that we have stayed at in Palm Springs, Amin Casa stands head and shoulders above the...
Read moreOver the years, I've sampled quite a number of hotels in Palm Springs. Amin Casa is the finest of the bunch. This boutique hotel is incredibly cozy, beautifully landscaped, charming with a sense of its history (Gloria Swanson's estate), but totally modern in amenities. The studio bungalow offered everything I needed--a fridge with a water filter, a coffee maker and lots of coffee, plates and glasses, etc., lots of outlets for charging things, a huge walk-in closet, and a bathroom that combined modern convenience with a vintage look. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was quiet as can be--yet mere blocks from the center of town with restaurants, cafes, antique shops, art galleries, the museum, and nightclubs within easy walking distance. The owners, Nelson and Ramon, made me feel like a welcomed old friend, and staff members were also friendly yet unobtrusive. The heated pool was a perfect size for doing gentle laps. If you're looking for a special treat, this...
Read moreWe recently visited our daughter who was staying at Amin Casa. While there we chatted with the owner and experienced such warm hospitality at this beautiful property it truly made a difference in our short vacation. (We wished we had booked Amin Casa for ourselves rather than our usual spot!) In addition to the genial atmosphere, our daughter's room was perfectly restored and amenities were plentiful. It is a small property, but delightfully landscaped and cared for. All staff we briefly had contact with were friendly, responsive and truly seemed happy at their jobs. We booked our next PS vacation here and can't wait. If you are looking for a lovely, very quiet, but friendly place to stay in PS within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and downtown, Amin Casa is the...
