I went here with a group as the after party to a wedding during COVID. We were in a great mood, not rowdy, and planned to spend a few hours here. Upon arrival, no one told us any special covid rules, so we did what all the other bars were. A man in a suit who appeared to be a manager came over to one of our tables during our first round of drinks, where we were seated with masks in front of us. He told us we had to have our masks on and only pull it down to sip our drink. I apologized and pulled my mask up and he replied with attitude that he had already told us this — but this was the first time I had been asked to put my mask on. And as someone who is completely pro-mask, I absolutely respect this policy. So when I let him know that actually, he hadn’t told me yet which is why I didn’t have it on, he raised his voice at me! He actually yelled at me. It was so unprofessional and I was shocked that the conversation was escalated so quickly for absolutely no reason. I could understand if i was refusing or giving him attitude. The groom in our group was so upset by his behavior toward me that he reacted strongly and we were kicked out a moment later. It was so unnecessary and honestly ruined the rest of our night. They called security on us, as if we were fighting or causing a big scene. I’ve never seen a manager act so poorly to a guest for something we were trying to comply with! I’m not sure if they were just looking for a reason to get rid of us, or if they’re always this rude. Anyway, don’t go here. It’s...
Read moreCarnaval Court is a fun, energetic outdoor venue with some of the best flair bartenders in the world right in the middle of the Las Vegas strip. Located between Harrah's and the Linq you can always find people having a good time here. Carnaval Court is actually part of the Harrah's Vegas property and offers live bands and DJ's all week long. They usually have an early evening band at about 4pm and an evening band around 8pm. They are all awesome bands that are so fun and talented, most have been playing there for years! I had the pleasure of catching a band on a Sunday night called "Status the band". They definitely killed it with a huge variety of music that kept the people dancing and singing along all night. I can't say it enough, the bartenders are AMAZING and definitely take your drinking experience to another level with their creative, fun acrobatic tricks. This place is not pretentious at all, its more like a super casual outdoor club with no cover charge! So whether you are on a date, with a group, rollin' solo and not into the crowded, expensive, dressy Vegas club life you can still have fun on the...
Read moreGreat bartenders with amazing skills but I have a nightmare story to share. I had 4 hours to blow before my flight, all my friends were gone so I went to carnival bar. I met a man who ended up telling me he was drugged & robbed by 2 young ladies he met there the night prior but that he was too embarrassed to contact police. I bought us both a couple rounds of drinks & convinced him to at least tell security, maybe they could watch the camera footage & identify the girls. He went to tell an older African American security guard & when he returned he took his drinks & told me “I’m sorry I can’t talk to you anymore” and seconds later several security guards approached me asking for ID. When I gave it to them they walked me “out” (it’s already outside) and read me the trespass act. I kept asking “are you really trespassing me forever from all harrahs properties because I bought a guy drinks & persuaded him to tell security the story he told me?” And they said they didn’t have to give me a reason, it’s private property. I’m banned for life as if I committed a crime or broke a rule....
