After a night of clubbing, we hit up Pizza Cake as it was a spot that was open and near our hotel.
For 2:45-3:00 AM they still had plenty of options for both pizza and desserts. The spot was clean and we were the only ones in line. They quickly took our order and we waited for them to reheat our pizza slices.
We ordered three New York pizza slices (Cheese, Pepperoni & White) while also ordering a Sicilian Pepperoni slice. Finally we capped off our order with a Sāmores PizzaCake as it looked amazing after nearly 3 hours of clubbing.
We took this back to our hotel and all of these slices hit the spot. The undercarriage was strong and had very little flop. The toppings were plentiful and the cheese and sauce were decent.
Very happy with how they allowed the crust to get crunchy without being charred.
Remember that we visited them nearly an hour before they closed and these slices were all solid. Thatās a testimony to delivering a quality product.
The star though was the Sāmores PizzaCake. They heat this up as well and the marshmallow allows the toppings to just sink in and almost āswimā in the marshmallow creme. Each bite was rich and decadent with a multitude of flavors. Shockingly, it wasnāt overly āsugaryā. The marshmallow was the dominate flavor. The crust on this slice was nice and did not break easily.
This was so good, we came back the next day to have it as a late night treat.
For late night/early morning pizza and desserts, I would be hard pressed to find a better spot. If itās late in Las Vegas and Iām hungry - Iām going to hit up this Pizza Cake location again. No...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePizzacake by Buddy Valastro is an absolute gem on the Las Vegas strip. As a fan of both pizza and cake, I was incredibly excited to try this unique concept, and it did not disappoint.
The moment you step inside, you're greeted with the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked pizzas. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from classic margherita to innovative creations like the "Cake Boss Special" with sausage, peppers, onions, and creamy ricotta.
I decided to go all out and try their famous PizzaCake, a slice of heaven that combines the best of both worlds. Picture this: layers of fluffy cake stacked with layers of cheesy, gooey pizza. It may sound unconventional, but trust me, it works like magic. Each bite is a delightful explosion of flavors and textures, leaving you craving for more.
The service at Pizzacake is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to provide recommendations based on your preferences. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, perfect for a casual meal or a quick bite before exploring the strip.
One of the things that stood out to me was the attention to detail in the presentation of the food. Each dish is beautifully plated, making it a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.
Overall, Pizzacake by Buddy Valastro is a must-visit spot for pizza lovers and cake enthusiasts alike. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a vibrant ambiance make it a memorable dining experience. So, if you find yourself in Las Vegas, don't miss the opportunity to indulge in this unique...
Read moreThis was the spicy supreme: Italian sausage, pepperoni, jalapeños, onions and ricotta. To say that it was perfect is an absolute understatement. $23.95 for a slice of pizza, wings (I chose the garlic parmesan), a beverage (I chose 16-ounce Kona Big Wave draught), plus $3.00 to add the most perfect cannoli. My standard for crust beyond flavor is pretty straightforward: I should be able to stick one finger in the middle and it should stay straight near the tip. Many pizzas fail this test, and it ruins the whole pie. The sauce was perfectly balanced and the seasoning melded well with the whole pie. What blew me away was the garlic parmesan sauce for the wings - it is butter based, allowing the chicken flavor to pop through, and providing a perfectly moist capsule for the crisp and perfectly cooked chicken. This sauce was so good, that I worked through what I could with the crust of the pizza. What was also impressive was the service from the man I found out was the AGM. This place is a gem, and I will certainly make it one of my spots while visiting Las Vegas. I haven't had pizza this good for years. The same could be said, actually, about the cannoli and wings. Pizza, beer, wings and cannoli are things I enjoy quite regularly, and it was great to find a spot that exceeded my expectations for all of...
