We went into Outback expecting a good meal as we have eaten in their restaurants in California and Florida many times with no complains, but this Outback doesn't deserve to hold the same name as any other Outback. We went in around 17:30 and there were just 3 other tables eating, which speaks volumes already. Ordered a ribeye steak medium/rare, the first time it arrived it was far from cooked properly as the steak was grey throughout - poor for a steakhouse. Our waiter even admitting that the chefs 'dropped the ball' on that steak I then had to wait another 20 minutes whilst my family all ate their food. When the new food finally arrived the manager brought the new dish out and asked me to cut into the new steak, once I cut it open it was clearly over cooked again, there was zero red in the steak and it was once again grey throughout. The manager/supervisor then started telling me that it's fine and that the lighting was the reason why it looked over done, telling me that the chef had cooked the steak for the right amount of time and the right temperature etc. Rather than get into an argument about it I told him that it's fine I'll just have the steak as it is. The steaks which all three of our party members got were extremely over seasoned too.
This Outback is more expensive than your average Outback, doesn't have as much choice on the menu and overall it's a disgrace to the Outback brand.
If you're looking for a good steak on the Vegas strip go further down towards the New York New York Hotel, across the road you will find another Outback which blows this one out of the water. Up there is also a Hard Rock Cafe...
Read moreBEWARE, had a wierd financial issue. My wellsfargo card was decline multiple times here as credit and debit. I even showed the manager the balance in my accouny. Luckily i had a credit card (2 others i could try). The staff stated a lot of customers have this issue there. When i left, i called my bank, they stated this location has a high rate of fraud and when i used my card it was locked at this location. I had to work with my bank to unlock my card. Dont use debit cards here, im lucky i had credit cards to cover the bill, what would happen if i didnt?
Staff was great, prices are normal strip prices. Food was ok, i found the food at other outback locations to be a bit above the grade of this location. Maybe it was because i ordered the lamb and its not a high ordered item, maybe it sits too long before sold where as beef is a faster moving volume and a bit fresher? Lamb was good, Ive had better.
2 stars over the strange financial issue and food grade. This location needs to fix their junk instead of saying "oh we get a lot of customers without workings cards." Its your restaurants issue through your merchant for credit/debit cards, not...
Read moreFirst time at Outback and this is one of those meals that traumatized me for life! Blooming onion was super oily the seasoning weren’t distributed evenly because there were some parts super salty and some bland. Oil sat on the bottom of the onion. I ordered the sirloin with the Alice something chicken. Chicken was dry but oily. my sides where the Brussel sprouts which was in a soup of oil. And a house salad. Sent the Brussel sprouts back because there’s no way I’m eating something drenched in oil swapped it out for a loaded baked potato and the potato was dry hard and over baked sent that back to settle for asparagus because that had to be fool proof. Thankfully the sirloin was pretty decent. Only thing that tastes worth the expensive charge because of being on the strip. My friend had the ribeye and it literally tastes like a cheap supermarket clearance section. His side of steakhouse Mac and cheese maybe being wheat had a weird taste to it. Never again. For two fat people to not finish their food says a lot as the only good thing there was the asparagus...
