Firstly, a company's workplace culture can play a significant role in employee satisfaction. If the culture at Kappa Toys is toxic, with little regard for employee well-being or work-life balance, employees may be unhappy and disengaged.
Secondly, inadequate compensation and benefits can also make a workplace unappealing. If Kappa Toys does not provide fair pay, adequate health insurance, or opportunities for professional growth, employees may be dissatisfied and feel undervalued.
Thirdly, poor management practices can also make a workplace a bad place to work. If managers at Kappa Toys are unresponsive to employee concerns, do not provide clear direction, or engage in favoritism or micromanagement, employees may feel unsupported and disrespected.
Finally, if Kappa Toys engages in any unethical or illegal practices, such as discrimination or harassment, it could create a hostile work environment and be a bad place to work for employees who experience or witness such behavior.
It is important to note that these factors are general and may not be applicable to Kappa Toys as an employer. Any concerns about the company's workplace policies or practices should be addressed directly with the company or relevant...
Read moreUpdate 2/6/23: reviewers for company replied fast with my concern. Adding stars for fast & courteous reply! The workers at this location need training for sure in customer service AND products they sell (at least Area 15 is okay with that). I'm standing there for a minute when I walk in and am confused at where to look for a thing the other store had but didnt (they offered to see what other stores had but I said wasn't a problem for me to stop by since was my way to another place I had to got to. Well the workers are just standing around chit chatting and I had to go to them to ask for help; the girl said she didn't know what products they had and told me to look around or go to website. I had to ask her to at least what area of the store it could be in & the store isn't huge and different from Area 15. I eventually talked manager who said he couldn't help either and yelled how he's worked there for years and if I can't find something in their store I need to try Target. Which was very weird & specific. Why are you soliciting for another business? That's some place with lazy workers, bipolar manager much and instead of trying to sell me one of their products tells me to spend my money somewhere...
Read moreINSANELY OVERPRICED, let me start you on that! I went here to look for a gift the other day and even the sanrio keychains are sure on the pricey side. I don’t think there is a single sanrio item that is what you should say affordable for its size.
Employees here were….not as up to par. You could wait for something in the glass cases and hardly any employee would come up and ask you if you’re doing okay, you personally have to go up to them while they are on their phones or while they are chatting to ask for assistance. Some even look a bit annoyed to even help…
All in all, I ended up leaving with nothing good. Did go back to Kuma Co. in the Shanghai Plaza though. There was a better variety at an affordable price for me personally. Am I trying to advertise Kuma Co.? No. Kappa is a cute store but it’s just way too overpriced and the employees just didn’t seem to care as much. I would return again if things were a little...
