I’m vegan and was super pumped there was another all vegan place in the area. Sadly, I’ve been here 4 times and that’s 4 times too many. It seems like every time you go, you don’t know what you will get. The first time I went the cupcake I got was so dry and gross. I haven’t had anything that I was so impressed by that I definitely wanted it again. There have only been a couple of things that were just okay. I decided to give it one last try after not going for months. I stopped in and picked up some of the holiday leftovers. I got Mac and cheese, green bean casserole,“turkey” and 2 cupcakes. The cupcakes were just okay and not dry this time. I’ve definitely had better. The mac and cheese and the green bean casserole smelled so gross, I almost couldn’t try it. I took a bit of everything, it was as all so bad. Nothing tasted remotely like the original. Vegan food has come such a long time way, it shouldn’t be this bad. That was a waste of $27 for me. I would have been so mad had I paid the $150 for the thanksgiving meal and that’s what I got 🤢. This food is also the most expensive around in the market. It’s not all made from scratch like the other places, it’s a lot of mixes, overpriced and not good. I truly tried giving this place a shot. I don’t understand all the positive ratings or how in the world a second...
Read moreFirst let me say we drove over three hours just to go to this spot because it’s all gluten free and we don’t have anything like that where we live. My mother in law has celiac and can’t have gluten so an all gluten free bakery and deli sounded amazing right but absolutely not it was a complete let down. First the selection is very small and included maybe 10 items available if that, very disappointing. Second we got a blueberry coffee cake muffin and when we finally get home 3 hours later we discovered it’s molded on the top. Yeah that’s right a fuzzy green mold all over the top, and yes I’m positive it wasn’t just blueberries. Third we got a caramel swirl carrot cake and it was stale and gritty not well mixed before baking. All together not a good experience. We would not recommend to other non celiac people.
Not the owner of this restaurant coming at me rude and disrespectful basically calling me a liar in a response to my review which is based on my experience that I had there and my personal opinion which I’m entitled too! Who are you to be rude and basically call me a liar for my opinion of what I got from your store!! Great customer service there lmao thank you for proving what a horrible...
Read moreThis place 100% gluten-free and I did not experience any reaction but…. Quality and taste for the price are what will prevent me from returning. Everything was a bit on the pricey side, even for gluten-free places. I ordered a blueberry muffin and a cinnamon bagel. I consumed the muffin immediately after purchase while enjoying a cup of coffee with friends on one of their outside tables. The muffin had a grainy, crumbly texture and left a strong chemical-like aftertaste, similar to what one would expect from artificial sweeteners. I stored the bagel as the employee recommended and attempted to have it for breakfast the following morning. The bagel was rock hard, making it almost impossible to slice in two. I attempted to try it….the hardness of it and the heaviness made it pretty much inedible. But, what taste I did get, was very similar to the muffin the previous day and very chemical-like. Makes me sad, I was really excited to have a local place that offered gluten-free baked goods, guess I’ll continue driving to bigger cities when the...
