If it was possible for me to give 0 stars, I would. I took my phone into the store on Monday because my screen was not working. I sat down with Sage and told him what was going on. He took out my SIM card along with my memory card and I watched him put those into another phone and figured he was doing whatever it was he needed to do to figure out what was wrong with my phone. He told me that the phone was no good would need to be replaced. I told him I was going to think about it. I wasn't sure what I was going to do. He gave me back my phone and I Left the store. It wasn't until I got home that I discovered that he did not give me back my SIM card or my memory card. I couldn't call him, so I sent him 2 emails to the email on his business card. I didn't hear anything back so later on used my husband's phone and called and left a voicemail asking him to call ASAP. I didn't hear anything from him so the next day, yesterday, I contacted the store manager and explained my situation. He called me back, said he was unable to reach Sage and they looked around and they didn't see a SIM card or a memory card anywhere. Later I went to a corporate Verizon store in Toledo and purchased a phone there. They discovered that my SIM card was in a Motorola phone at the Perrysburg store. So today I called, asked for a manager again, was told he was not in. I explained that I found out that the SIM card was in a Motorola phone and maybe my memory card was there, too. I asked them to please check and see, and let me know. That was at 9:30 this morning. It is now 6 o'clock and I have not gotten a call back. I don't care anything about the SIM card. The only thing I'm concerned about is my memory card, it has all my photos, videos of my now deceased parents, my contacts. I think the bottom line is. They saw me as an older person who wasn't going to purchase anything and was being a pest.The fact that I have not heard anything from the guy who did this, or the store manager speaks for itself. This used to be a company store and their customer service was stellar. But it's now a third party owned retail store and I think they're just focused on sales. I will never set foot in this store again.
UPDATE: After posting this review I did receive a call from Sage who said he would look for my memory card. No comment on why he didn't return my call or answer my two emails from two days prior. The manager never returned my call from Wednesday either. The Corporate store I went to was more concerned with making me a happy Verizon customer than about whether or not they were going to...

I purchased my phones and transferred my service a year ago at their location in Perrysburg, OH. I spent over 3 hours in their store as the girl who helped was newer and learning which was fine. She was having issues transferring our numbers which I completely understood. The real issue came after I signed up. I was quoted a price of around $130 give or take a few dollars a month for our plan. So I left not thinking much about it and trusting them (my fault) that the plan was setup correct. I placed our billing on auto payments and forgot about it. After a few months I was auditing out account and noticed that we were billed $337, $208 and $230 for the previous 3 months.
I immediately went to their store to speak to the manager who told me without my paperwork proving that they screwed up there was nothing he could do. He did make changes to bring our bill down to the price that it should have been at least. Some time later I decided to make a review of my experience to warn others. Their customer service at corporate saw this and reached out to me to find out what happened.
I explained the situation and they said that it looked like I should be credited back the amount of the overages. However, they had to send it to upper management for approval. I knew then what answer I would receive.
My phone call today was one that I fully expected. They said upper management wouldn't approve the refund because they had no way to see the contract and since I had signed and their manager changed my payment to the correct one that they would consider that a plan change.
My advice if you are dealing with their locations make sure that you read the whole contract before doing anything and make sure that no matter what you do not misplace your contract as I had when we purchased our new house and moved.
My background is as a retail store manager and I have seen some bad management decisions. This is one of them. My purchase from them was the first and last I will be making from their company.
My advice to this company is to take a look at the training program and paperwork storage as it seems you are unable to locate paperwork that in today's digital age is easy to store and keep for a number of years. I stopped into the Verizon Perrysburg location late on Saturday night to look at phones and discuss plans. Upon my entering into the store I was greeted by Nick asking me what I was coming into the store for today. He walked me over the look into the Samsung Galaxy s10 as this us what I had my mind set on, upon discussing the phone it was not a good phone for myself as tend to drop my phone quiet frequently, per my decision. He suggested I look into lg phones, I was very unsure as in the past have not cared for these style phones. He took the time to take the phone out of the box, discuss pros and cons between the 2 different styles of phones. Myself being a new customer to Verizon and working in the retail world for over 10 years I appreciated his customer service as he was talking to me as a person and not as he was making commision and needed to sell me this phone. I ended up going with the LG V40, I have had it for less than 24 hours and I have never been happier with a phone.
