At approximately 5:45 pm, I pulled into the parking lot of this chipotle off Bell Rd and the I17. Approaching the front door two employees stood at the end of the cashiers counter. One saw me and walked away, while the young lady had this look of disappointment as I watched her whole demeanor go from laughter to dread. To which made me look at my watch and wonder why so early in the evening…? After a long day and feeling famished, I decided to overlook it. Thinking cut sizes and culture wouldn’t be overlooked, having worked for the company at one point in my life. As I walked through the doors, a young grill man wearing gloves bit into his burrito as he hurried towards the counter… a young lady met me at the counter. She asked what I would like to which I replied “for him to change his gloves before serving me.” She then replied in an irritated manner “I’ll be helping you, what do you want?” To which I responded “nothing and proceeded exit the building. As I exited… the feeling of hunger was overcome by disrespect. For a moment I couldn’t understand, how someone who supposedly understood for safety replied to me in such a manner. I then turned right back around and re-entered the building, noticing several employees bunched up near the cash register. Asking to speak to a manager, the same young lady that met me at the counter replied “I am the manager!” To which I said.. “you’re not a manger. You’re not wearing a manager shirt.” As an obvious polo wearing shirt manager approached the counter on her way out, the young lady proceeded to lie about the whole confrontation, claiming I cursed at her on my way out. After she called me a B!$&!. When she finished lying, I asked if I could then speak. The said manager still speechless… looked at me in awe as she was in a hurry to end her shift without care. Explained to her why happened from the beginning to which she then asked what I wanted to happen.. with complete disregard to what I expressed. After realizing I was leaving hungry and upset, I turned around and walked away.
Chipotle used to be a fast food restaurant that didn’t feel like a fast food restaurant. One that made you feel as if your day mattered. After today.. and how I was treated, I’ll never eat there again. Not because of entitlement but because of the lack of it base culture.
The world isn’t perfect.. but if you continue to hire these careless people, down you go like the values of our up and so said generation. You suck Chipotle! And the world is...
Read moreI love Chipotle. I've been coming to chipotle for years with my family. I tend to come at least once per week if not more. I always order the same exact thing. A burrito with double white rice and sofritas and a regular drink. It's always rang up as a sofritas 3 pointer. When she told me the price I said No its a sofritas 3 pointer. I said they've always rang it up as a 3 pointer. Shecsaid every single chipotle is wrong. For over 3 years. Every single gle one is wrong. She is the only person to ever tell me it's not a 3 pointer. So I said give me a 3 pointer then. She actually gave me which looked to be a half scoop of rice and sofritas. Petty maybe? But what really gets me is that she just threw out the other burrito. She could have just said next time I can't do that and I would have said ok. But I'll never go to this location again because her customer service was horrible. She needs customer service training because 1-wasting food isn't ok, 2- She argued with me and and employee should never do that, and 3- she just blamed every single chipotle for doing business...
Read moreI typically try not to complain, but this has been a trend lately. One of the managers at this location (tall, long hair, bigger guy) is causing me to rethink chipotle as my go-to lunch spot.
I get double chicken every time I order. This manager will give me the smallest portion possible. On the website it states that a single serving is 4oz. When this manager is in, the portions are 2.5oz at best. I pay $16 for a bowl, I should at least get what I paid for. It does not seem like a good strategy to upset customers just to save a few bucks on portions.
Additionally, he tries to move so fast (even when they are slow) that he usually gets food and hot sauce all over the container and has to rush to wipe it off. It makes you feel rushed as customer for no reason.
He has been training the new hires to act the same way and it’s turning this location into the worst Chipotle around. Please have a training with this employee so I can return to being a regular. I’m not asking to be “hooked up” just to get...
