green something hotel tell Sunday in Phenix Arizona

Our family booked a few rooms here to meet up for some family activities in the area. One of the party booked a suite to accommodate sleeping children. When checking in they found there was no suite available and were told "I don't know what you want to do about it" by the front desk as if it was their fault. The hotel finally offered 2 rooms (disconnected and not close to eachother) so the family could try and sleep everyone. One of the rooms our party had, had no hot water, in one room the shower was broken, in one room the sink faucet was broken and blew water all over. There is no indoor pool eventhough it is advertised on their site. The outdoor pool and spa were disgusting. Coffee in the lobby is only available during breakfast time and on the subject of breakfast make sure you are early if you arrive 30mins before shut down you will find all the food gone and the staff refusesing to restock anything, then quickly kicking you out exactly at the end time (can't even refill a drink quick). When walking through the hotel we witnessed cannabis smoke coming from the staff maintenance room near the gym, we understand this is recreationally legal but not supposed to be done while at work. Some of the staff speak English and some speak Spanish, while I'm very tolerant of multi-lingual environments our party witnessed a few occasions where the staff could not communicate with eachother and was getting irritated. When working in this situation translation services need to be used etc. Some of the beds seemed dirty (auctual grime on sheets like they may not have been changed) and 10 of 10 members of our group found the beds uncomfortable. Overall this was one of the most deplorable places I have stayed and I would not recomend staying here with a family.

My training company is actually paying for this. But it's so nice to have a microwave and a little frigerator. They also have a great menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hotel staff is friendly and the actual hotel shuttle will take you within a 5-mile radius if you need to go to such places as Walmart, T-Mobile Etc. If you need to go somewhere the shuttle is 24 hours. It does not run to the airport. They do have security that checks out and runs 24 hours. I believe it's only for floors and the views are okay depending where you are at. It's nice and clean and they provide things that you will need on your trip. This is a 3-star Hotel. The parking is kind of small. But I love it because they also have a business center, business rooms, jacuzzi and pool. And free laundry area on site. You can either have your laundry done for you for a price or you can do it yourself. They do have little detergent pods for sale. Coyotes bar has great food, with a pool table and of course the typical TV with your sports. It doesn't seem a crowded which is really nice but I'm pretty sure in the summer time they get pretty full.

We attended a 3 day seminar. We are not from Arizona and didn't know the area. The restrooms where not being kept up.

3 stalls in the women's room. One went our of order. We were more than 100 people at this event. The only other rest room for non staying people, was the one by the pool. Only one stall. One of those days I noticed the 2 stalls that were working, didn't have anymore toilet paper, so I went to the lobby to ask if someone could restock, since we were about to go to a break. The gal said, housekeeping was gone, and she didn't know how they were going to make this possible.

The staff was not the nicest. The 1st day they offered us to buy lunch there, so we didnt loose time at our lunch break. We gladly paid, $12 a person. We got a buffet of tacos. No drink was included, only water. It was one line for over 80 people. It took over 30 mins for us to get out plate of 3 tacos. There was some amenities that ran out, like sour cream, guacamole, cheese. The gal there, only one, running the lunch, said they ran out and there was alot of people that only got the tortillas and meat, no toppings. This is not right if we placed the lunch order by 830am, so the staff should have made accommodations to make sure all of the people that paid, got feed the same. It seemed we were making them work too much.

Next couple of days we no longer ate lunch there. I ordered food from a near by place and took it back to me at the hotel. We wanted to eat with our instructors durning lunch, so I set up our food with them. Then, we were rudely kicked out of the restaurant with out outside food. No signs ever posted. Said it was due to COVID, yet they had an open buffet in the middle of the lobby.

The people that did stay there said there were no room amenities, like shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The people staying there got their shampoo from other people that stayed at the hotel next door. None of there rooms where cleaned while they stayed there. I stayed across at another hotel, they cleaned the rooms every day. Most of the people that went to this event were from out of state. It seemed that the staff did not care at all of the people that were staying there. I am glad I did not stay at this place. It was overpriced and I rate them at a 1. I have been at hotel 8, that are better.

Outside, the neighborhood is bad. No one dared to walk outside, especially after dark. There are lots of homeless...

This is definitely not a 3 star hotel. I’ve stayed here 3 times in 2023 already and this will be my last, even paid for the membership here. First off the plumbing here is very old and most the rooms the water backs up when you’re in the shower. Also they put us on the 4th floor where there was NO AIR CONDITIONING in the hall!! It’s 116 degrees outside and the room air conditioner was not enough so later we asked Ben at the front desk if we could have a new room, he placed us by the elevator in a room that still had no air in the hall?! I just decided it wasn’t worth changing rooms again. They also act like it’s a chore to get you new towels or anything for the rooms. I also asked the front desk gentleman Ben for a late checkout… the latest without being charged and he said I can do 2pm. I told my Fiancé watch they will be knocking at the door in the morning because they don’t let their staff know, sure enough the housekeeping was knocking. So I called down in the morning to get a fresh towel and a washcloth and the front desk representative asked if we are staying again I told her no Ben said we had until 2pm she said well we can’t do 2pm our policy is 12:00. Instead of making us happy for their error she wanted to continue to argue about the late check out. What happened to when companies took responsibility for their own mistakes and owned up to it? The service is subpar here and the rooms are antiquated. The jacuzzi hasn’t working since I started staying here! The bathrooms were locked by the pool and we had to ask to have them opened. The shower in the men’s was also plugged with standing water. I just am very disappointed as I was going to make this place a go to spot because I come down from Northern Arizona and it’s close to where my family is. They should communicate with their staff letting them know when there are late checkouts and if there are mistakes they should own up to it! Especially when the service is already subpar and the rooms are dingy and old. Also lots of sketchy people that are on drugs that wait by the doors until it opens and come in to get ice or use things they...

An absolute nightmare. I booked 5 days with the people as I was Traveling in Arizona for business. They are extremely unprofessional I would recommend staying away from here unless you are looking to have your things stolen by the hotel themselves lol. The corporate number is a joke I left multiple messages and still have yet to hear back from them. They refuse to refund me my money even though I only stayed one night and paid for 5. What a mistake that was. I've never sued anyone before but I think this will honestly be my first case. I made the mistake of asking if someone I met could charge their phone in the lobby for 20 mins as my guest. I asked this alone and requested to speak with the manager. They told me he was gone and they could help me. Then they assued my guest was going to be homeless and I started to walk away. The real manager shows up who supposedly wasn't there and chases me to the elevator. I told him I just want to go to my room and he threatened to call the police. I called the police first. Well after 3 days and 25 calls to the police, it wasn't considered an emergency so the police wouldn't show up. This hotel refused to give me my things for 3 days while I was on a business trip. They help my laptop, ps5, passport, Id, phone, wallet you name it lol. I begged for help for days and was forced to sleep in my car. I pleaded with them that I'll pay money, someone else can go get it, etc. I gave them every option in the book and they still refused to work with me. Please for the love of God stay away from this place. These people are so stuck in their policy they will literally ruin your life for fun without remorse. Thank God I was able to barrow money. Never thought I would have to again but here we are. I will definitely be taking legal action. I hope this review sparks some sort of interest in me haha. I have yet to hear from them. I did however get my things back. A lady from the front put everything in a giant trash bag. Tons of my things are missing and broken. Should be interesting to see how this plays out to...
