We stayed here last night and we really had a great experience. We booked very late, after 11pm, after looking at hotels and Airbnbs with highly unreasonable rates. This place was a steal for a clean room, in a safe location, for under $100. Right after booking online, the front desk called and confirmed when we would be arriving so they would be ready for us. Once we arrived, we were helped in a very timely manner and the night desk clerk was so kind. After paying for our room, I noticed they have a small selection of bottled water, snacks and Tylenol/Advil available for purchase and they're cheaply priced. I asked for a bottle of water and some Tylenol but I did not notice the "Cash Only" sign on the cart. We didn't have cash and it was late, so I said never mind, but the desk clerk was so generous and offered it to me on the house. I had been in a lot of pain that day and it really meant so much to me that he made sure I still got Tylenol even though he didn't know I was hurting. I think that really speaks to the character of their management and employees, which I value greatly. Our room was very clean, we did all the standard checks and found nothing but a very clean room. There's almost no light pollution coming in through the blinds so it makes for a very dark room if you need that to sleep like us. Only thing we didn't like was the microwave light was very bright but we solved that by draping a towel over it, and it didn't bother us at all. Also, the kitchenette is perfect for anything stovetop and microwavable, very nice quality and we could have made a full meal in there if we wanted to. We were a bit late getting out of the room but they only knocked once and then respected our privacy while we got ready to leave. Overall I highly recommend staying here, it's a clean safe place with friendly staff, laundry services (and they sell laundry soap too!) and a great place to get a good night's sleep. Thank you for the lovely stay and all your...
Read moreI’ve been staying at this hotel for approximately 2.5 months & in all honesty, if I don’t have to leave, I won’t! The staff here treats you like family & goes the extra distance. The security, between cameras & the staff, is top notch…this coming from a very hyper-vigilant person who never feels safe. They just put in brand new mattresses, which are superb! There are kitchenettes in the room-2 burner stove top, full size fridge/freezer, huge microwave, and plenty of cupboard space. If your stay is going to be longer than a day or two, I would suggest bringing any pots/pans & utensils, as these are not provided. Also, they provide coffee from 6am-9am (although a lot of days, this time is extended 🙂), so if a big coffee drinker, may want to bring a coffee pot for your room. The washroom has a great shower/tub combo & provides a hair dryer for those who may want a mini-blow out 😉 Rooms provide a two-drawer dresser, space for hanging clothes, and a nice side table by the bed. If you’re a TV watcher, there are more channels than you probably need! They have a laundry room, which is always clean. The grounds are always kept up & are inviting. There are several trees and grass for sitting out and reading a book or watching the gorgeous sunrises! They have a covered smoking area for those that smoke, complete with bench seating. There are BBQ grills which make for a good time hanging out and grilling. All in all, I would recommend this place for a one night stay or a...
Read moreI can not say enough about why I like this hotel. The design and layout may look like a modern chain, but it is family run. The owner is pleasant & helpful, the price is more than reasonable, it is in a quiet neighborhood with stores and restaurants in walking distance, and It has free parking.
Everything was clean. No rugs mean less allergies and cleaner surfaces. It is a little spartin on all the extras you rarely use in fancy hotels, but it has all the essentials, making it environmentally conscious.
Everything works, including AC, heat, hot water, freezer with ice trays, locks, a TV with cable, etc. We saw no defects. There is an elevator for the 2nd floor and a cart for luggage.
The thing I liked best is that the rooms are designed to be used for a night or several weeks. Our room had two built-in electric hotplates like a stove, an overhead microwave & vent, a single bay kitchen sink, and a full refrigerator! You can easily save several take-out / delivered meals or go grocery shopping for a week of food and cook your own. There are no utensils, pots, pans, or dishes, but a few bucks and a trip to the dollar store can easily solve that.
I recommend this hotel and will go back again when in the area. Though there was enough parking, the lot was mostly full when we arrived - so I don't think I am alone in seeing...
