Overall a good experience. It was pretty tasty and everything was fresh. There was a fair value of food for the prices. While it's a no frills interior, there are some colorful decor items. Tho it wasnt the cleanest. It was maintained, and only some tables needed wiped etc. They were busy, so I certainly understood. Mostly it's fairly small inside but utilitarian. The service was excellent, even with the crowd. I had some sushi and hibachi. Both were very good. I do wish they had an option to do noodles with the hibachi. But you can't have everything. And they do offer quite a few options. The drinks are basic bottled bevvies. All in all I'd return for sure. The young lady running the register and expoing was wonderful. She had everything flowing well. Also they were very accommodating to requests or specifications! I had no issues with some adjustments to my menu choices. Which was all made correctly and the steak was cooked as I requested. As a tip... just get some extra sauce of your choice. It's not all dry or anything, but the sauces...
Read moreThe service was very nice and quick. They have this really cool picture on the wall kinda like the street life at night but it doesn't mesh with the rest of the restaurant. When you're looking at the chairs and tables and floor, it's kinda boring. I got the shrimp fried rice with the egg rolls and my boyfriend got the orange chicken with fried rice. The first egg roll wasn't bad, but the second was super salty. The sauce they gave us kind of reminded us of the Chick-fil-A sauce. While the shrimp in the shrimp fried rice was nice sized, the rice was bland without any veggies and hardly any eggs. Super oily as well. The orange chicken was ok. Seemed to be missing something but definitely had a more natural orange flavor with a nice amount of spice. The fried rice with the orange chicken was just like the shrimp fried rice, without the shrimp... obviously. Yet again, lacking in any characteristics of normal fried rice...
Read moretypically when I order plain fried rice its delicious, flavorful and fresh at Japanese restaurants. This plain fried rice taste like something that had been sitting at the bottom of a bucket for hours. I left it where it belongs, in the parking lot. It was dry and tasteless and they wanted to charge me $3 to add onions when most places already include onions. Literally some of the worst Japanese plain fried rice I've ever had and I've had a lot at my favorite spots (but I moved away from the area) It was gross and I...
