Peking China Buffet — Restaurant in Plainfield

Please believe the reviews you see about terrible food and service! I tried to give them a chance even though they had some bad reviews. I when in and I was greeted and seated. I got my food and as I went around to everything I thought “maybe I came at the wrong time” because the food looked like it was sitting for a while. I should have left then but I didn’t. I sat down and took a bite out of each thing one time. A few things I spit out. So I proceeded to let the hostess know that everything was old and nasty she pointed to the 2 other guests tables after they’d left and said “no one else complained about it” I said okay well I’m complaining and this is nasty. She walked off while I was talking and kept doing what she was doing. So I walked out and she followed behind me to pay. I told her I’m not and she followed me outside and started trying to take pictures of me and saying she was calling the police I told her to go ahead and as I pulled my phone out to take pictures and videos she walked back inside. The business is dirty dark and the food is unsanitary the lady in the picture is the one at the front she will give you dirty silverware and when you ask for disposable plastic ware she will hand you uncovered plastic spoons and fork. I knew i should have just tried the Thai food across the way! Disgrace! The food is horrible, broke my tooth, literally on a meal that was to be my birthday meal. Not 1 person in my group would eat their food because it was too hard, old and the lady running the place kept picking her teeth and flipping the food off her finger standing right over us. The silverware still had leftover food on them. We didn't eat and told them we couldn't stay and that we didn't eat, but was willing to pay for the half glass of tea, and crab rangoon that broke the tooth. She was irate and SCREAMED at us in Chinese, told us "Go home" and we did. Who is going to stand up for us and say enough is enough!?!? They continue to serve this absolute God awful food because no one makes them accountable. We are forced to deal with it! Terrible that children had to experience this and be terrified, scared, because these folks acted like a $13 plate of slop was going to break them. We are the reason this place is successful or not. Without customers, happy, satisfied customers, this business would not thrive. They should be ashamed!! We should be walking out of there a happy camper! Even if we didn't choose to eat there, we should have been able to feel our opinions counted and we mattered. An apology at the least. Beware, Beware, Beware!!!!!!!! I went to the stirfry section and and in the beef tray I noticed that they had some brown spoiled looking beef and then they had some that was pink and looked fresh. I picked out some of the fresh looking beef. I didn’t think much about it and when I handed the lady my plate to cook it, she said I’ll bring it to you. So I grabbed something else to eat and went back to the table noticing that she hadn’t started to cook my stirfry. What she did was take the beef that I had selected that was fresh. Put it back in the pan and replaced it with the old spoiled meat. I didn’t think about it till I was almost done with the plate so I walked back to the stirfry section being one of the only two or three people in the restaurant and guess what I saw all fresh pink beef, and all the brown spoiled looking beef was gone. She switched it out on me to get rid of the old stuff. I politely paid her at the register and I wrote on the note you gave me the old beef. This place could be highly dangerous at best at that point I looked around and noticed that many of the entrées were filled with older outdated foods. This is one of the few times that I’ve ever been at a restaurant where I could say it was actually dangerous to eat there. I hope I don’t get sick from eating that ridiculous food.
