My first experience at Kay’s was at the castleton store and I left feeling extremely disappointed and like my questions were a waste of the person’s time. I’m so glad I gave Kay’s another chance and went to their Plainfield location. Dan helped us out and answered any questions we had. He approached every question with professionalism and care. I wasn’t convinced that I needed a diamond ring and wanted to explore white sapphire and moissanite options. He showed me the difference between diamond and white sapphire and helped me make an informed decision rather than dismissing my opinion. In the end we purchased a beautiful diamond ring and it has been the best decision. We will be back to purchase the wrap/jacket/enhancer and will make sure he is who gets our business. I was given a citizens eco drive watch for my birthday. I noticed that every time I would go to put it on (I don’t wear it daily) the time and date would be wrong and the hands on the watch weren’t moving. I stopped by Kays in Plainfield while Tori and Megan were working. They both were eager to assist me. Tori let me know that my watch needs to sit under a light and it also has a motion sensor. She went over and beyond my setting my watch for me (the date was set to the 18th, today being the 14th…she scrolled until she got my watch set correctly. While Tori was working with my watch, Megan was trying to help me look for a specific earring. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the earring that I desired. I definitely will come back to this location for my jewelry needs....

Super disappointed. We frequent this location often. I am here every 6 months for my inspections and we have spent a lot of money here. I came in the other day just to have the diamonds rechecked in my 1.5 carat diamond ring because I accidentally hit it on the counter at work. The gentleman who I’ve never worked with before, rushed through the diamond inspection. He said that no diamonds were loose. However how he rushed just didn’t sit right with me. I ended up taking my ring to the Greenwood location a couple days later for a second look and there was definitely 3 diamonds loose in the band. I definitely do not want this man touching any of my jewelry ever again. It makes me sick to my stomach that he would do this to others as well. We’ve never been treated...
