Edited to add June 2025 - To me, the Ritz spa has firmly been cemented as the best spa in Portland, likely Oregon after many visits. I’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and girls days here. The team will add special touches for these visits that really elevate the experience. After a recent mishap, the support and resolution presented by the director was the gold standard. I don’t think it gets better than here.

Worth the splurge if you’re wanting a luxurious spa experience! Every member of the staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. The spa area is beautiful and well-maintained. The showers were cleaned between guests, the common areas refreshed often.

Booking a service also provides access to the immaculate fitness center + yoga studio with amazing views. You could get a work out in, shower, use the amenities, and then head into a treatment room for your service - an all-day luxurious experience.

I booked the Tranquil Moments package and spent about 5 hours at the spa, could’ve easily stayed longer!

I enjoyed the sauna, steam room, cold shower, fully stocked vanities, relaxation room with drinks and healthy snacks. There’s also a small terrace with pretty views you can step out onto for fresh air.

The massage and facial were high quality. I am extremely pleased with my therapist and esthetician. I was glowing when I left.

Is it expensive? Yes. There is an automatic 22% gratuity + service charge for the spa. Is it worth it? Absolutely. I have yet to find a spa in Portland that holds a candle to the facility that...

From the moment my wife and I arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism that immediately set the tone for a perfect day of relaxation. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating, creating an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and deeply personal. The spa itself is stunning, beautifully designed, tranquil, and impeccably maintained, offering the ideal setting to unwind and recharge.

Wow! As a spa connoisseur I have to say this is an absolute gem. The spa was immaculately clean. I enjoyed the steam room and the sauna. Beautifully appointed robes and all the essentials - no need to bring anything it’s all there for you. Hairbrush , hair products, lotion, razors , etc. The views in the relaxation area were stunning - could see all of Portland - the hills ,the mountains ,the rivers, the bridges. Enjoyed the yummy healthy snacks and delicious tea. My services were a pedicure and manicure. My tech Jill, was delightful and treated me like a queen. If you enjoy sound baths , check out the zero gravity chair with headphones playing a relaxing soundtrack. Emily, the spa manager, covered me with a weighted blanket and heated neck and eye pillow and I was off to another dimension - at least for 25 minutes.
