The owners of this business are hostile, highly unprofessional, and refuse to take any form of accountability for their mistakes. Furthermore, this business is NOT located in Prescott. If you make an order to be picked up at the Prescott location, they will wait until the day of pickup to inform you that you actually must drive out to Dewey to pick up at a gas station. Our story: My wife ordered and prepaid $88 for two dozen cupcakes for our daughterâs first birthday. Arrangements were made weeks in advance for us to pick them up at 10am at the bakery located 5 minutes from our house (right before party start time). The morning of the party, the owner contacted us and stated that she would not be upholding her end of the deal and that if we wanted the cupcakes we would have to make an hour and a half round trip drive to a gas station in Dewey to pick them up, this obviously was not feasible for us with party prep taking place. Eventually the owner stated she would have her husband meet us in Prescott valley and that was the best they could do. Being that we already paid in advance and the party was starting we had no choice so we made the drive out. Here is where it really went downhill though⊠Upon meeting her visibly annoyed partner in a parking lot in PV, I asked âCan I talk to you for a minute about some of your business practices?â. My desire was to express my concerns, gain clarity as to why they switched plans last second, and potentially help them better their business for future customers. Unfortunately that did not happen. This man immediately began screaming profanities at me and told me they have no obligation to hold up their end of the deal⊠I politely asked twice if he could lower his voice and have an adult conversation with me, this did not work as he continued to scream profanities. These people are not reasonable, are self entitled, and refuse to take accountability for their actions. As a past small business owner myself, I was disgusted with...
Read moreAh, Flour Stone Cafe, the perfect place to get your caffeine fix and satisfy your sweet tooth all in one go. This little cafe is a hidden gem that I recently stumbled upon, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer.
Let's start with the coffee. The baristas at Flour Stone Cafe are like mad scientists, brewing up the most delicious concoctions you've ever tasted. I ordered a latte and it was like drinking a warm hug. The foam was so velvety, I wanted to dive right in. And the coffee itself? It was like a symphony of flavors, each note more delicious than the last.
But wait, there's more! Flour Stone Cafe also serves up some seriously gourmet cupcakes. I'm talking flavors like lavender honey and salted caramel. These cupcakes are like little pieces of art, almost too beautiful to eat. But trust me, you'll want to eat them. The cake is moist and fluffy, and the frosting is so creamy, it's like eating a cloud.
And let's not forget about the cookies. Flour Stone Cafe has an entire display case dedicated to cookies, and they're all delicious. From chocolate chip to oatmeal raisin, they've got you covered. And the best part? They're all the size of your face. Okay, maybe not that big, but pretty close.
The atmosphere at Flour Stone Cafe is cozy and welcoming, with the smell of fresh baked goods wafting through the air. It's the kind of place where you can spend hours sipping coffee and nibbling on sweets without a care in the world.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for some seriously good coffee and gourmet cupcakes and cookies, head to Flour Stone Cafe. And be sure to bring your appetite - you're...
Read moreThis business is deceitful and dangerous. Family ordered cupcakes to be picked up at 10am this morning, we get a text message 2 hours before asking if we can drive to a gas station near their house an hour and half away in Dewey to pick the cupcakes up because they were short staffed. No, we canât, we are setting up for a first birthday party and pre paid for 2 dozen cupcakes to be picked up at a bakery 5 mins away. The business owner took no accountability, citing theyâre a small business and eventually offered to have her husband meet half way in Prescott valley. We didnât have a choice, the cupcakes were paid for and the party was starting. Very odd move for a business to handle their inefficiency issue and it gets worse â This man showed up hostile and annoyed at the fact he had to be there, when confronted about the issue (rightly so, elephant in the room weâre meeting in a Burger King parking lot for our cupcake order) he became aggressive and completely lost control, yelling and cursing. He had been holding it in and lost it because it happened in seconds. I donât know whatâs worse, the fact these $90 cupcakes weren't baked in a commercial grade bakery rather someoneâs personal kitchen, or the fact she sent her temperamental partner/husband who canât regulate his emotions to represent the brand. We will be filing a report, do not pre pay for a service here...
