When we checked in, Elizabeth was very welcoming and acknowledged my Ambassador Elite Status right away by thanking me for being a loyal guest. She went above and beyond with her hospitality and accommodations. She’s the ONLY reason why I didn’t give 1 star. Unfortunately our interaction with Elizabeth was short as we checked in late and we were left with unwilling and annoyed Vanessa, who gave us the impression like she didn’t want to be there let alone work or provide any customer service. I spoke to Vanessa over the phone to extend our stay, and she kept saying “is there anything else?” after I would ask a question. She had a very irritated and bothered attitude. It’s unfortunate this hotel has someone like that “welcoming” or assisting guests. She’d be better suited for a role that has no guest interactions since she has trouble with being professional. Our stay ended with an additional cleaning fee and when we asked Don if anything can be done about the fee seeing as how I am an ambassador elite and have stayed loyal with Marriot for years, he even asked the GM Denise if this fee could be waived considering our status and the circumstances and apparently booking over 200+ stays and spending well over 50k in at various Marriott’s last year alone, doesn’t mean anything. Definitely something to consider. Why have a loyalty program if it’s not something the staff or the company values???
Don’t waste your time at this hotel, go 2 miles up the road and stay at Element. The entire staff is welcoming and friendly, better pool and outdoor area with bbq grills, better rooms and the better pricing. Pet friendly, and our room had a fully stocked kitchenette with stove, fridge and freezer, sink, dishwasher and dishes. Wish we would have stayed here from the start...
Read moreIf I could leave zero stars, I absolutely would. I’ve stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites Ontario Rancho Cucamonga multiple times before, but today was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had anywhere.
This morning, I went down for breakfast, and out of a room full of people, I was the only one singled out by an employee. She came up to me demanding to know what floor I was staying on and my exact room number, like I didn’t belong there. It was humiliating, disrespectful, and felt blatantly discriminatory. No one else was questioned like that — only me. I felt completely targeted.
When I went to the front desk to report it, the woman working there made excuse after excuse and clearly didn’t take the situation seriously. She acted like it wasn’t a big deal, brushed it off, and offered no real apology or solution. It was clear they didn’t care about how I was treated at all.
On top of that, I requested fresh sheets and basic room service from the same woman at the front desk and was basically denied until I had to push the issue. Only after I pressed her and made it clear I wasn’t going to just walk away did she reluctantly agree to get them for me. It’s absurd that I had to fight just to get basic service that should be standard at any decent hotel.
This hotel has completely lost my trust. The lack of respect, the horrible customer service, the way they mishandled a serious complaint, and the way they made me feel so unwelcome and mistreated is beyond unacceptable. I will never stay here again, and I strongly warn anyone thinking about booking here — save yourself the disrespect, the frustration, and the discrimination. This place is an...
Read moreSo my wife and I spent the weekend here at this lovely hotel to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary. When we booked this hotel, we saw the reviews , with hopes that they were accurate and true. Needless to say, EVERYTHING about this hotel was exceptional. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by Brandi , who was extremely professional , courteous , and was so so nice by handing us a pamphlet with a list of area restaurants for us to choose from in order to have our anniversary dinner. When we got to the room, we were met with a very clean, spacious room that was air conditioned, and it smelled great in there. All the amenities were there, like a fridge, coffee maker, and the TV had NETFLIX. That was a big plus. Bed and bedding were comfy and very plush, and the bathroom was huge and very clean. Down to the pool. The pool was small, but not very small, however big enough and the water was chilly and perfect for a hot day. The next day, we enjoyed their free hot breakfast, which had quiche and salsa included and it was all delicious. By the way, the staff handling the breakfast items and breakfast areas this morning, were extremely nice and so very helpful. I didnt get this when I stayed at an Embassy Suites by Hilton out in the Palm Springs. All in all, this hotel far exceeded my expectations and the location of it was PERFECT being so close to the Ontario Mills, Victoria Gardens and a flood of entertainment. I will definitely stay here again. BTW, they have awesome coffee 24/7 in the Lobby.
Sidenote: My Only request, have Ice Water dispenser in the lobby for hot days. Other than that, your hotel is where I want...
