Took my Mother's 77 yr old wedding set in, Mother's ring & another gold ring to have a new ring made at the Rancho location. Spent 3 hrs looking thru catalogs. Decided on a ring, "no problem", I had the main stone in the wedding set cut off for me to hold until time to set it. A few days later the sales lady called me wanted me to "see the ring". She had gotten the ring so I could see actual size. "The diamonds in the wedding set are all chips I can't do anything with those or the channel set ones in the earring, I can use the birthstones." Her sales pitch was she could make posts to put the diamonds on the ring along with the birthstones. Ruined the wedding set thinking her word was her word and she could make this ring happen. I loved the setting but I went in and got all my rings back and left. Misrepresented what kind of work "she" could do COMPLETELY, as the "chips" were in the wedding set, they should be able to be reset. It's not about chips or stones but sentimental value after losing my Mother. Any b.s. for a sale. Shameful. She also took some phone calls while I was deciding and I hope they weren't co-workers, incredibly rude over candles and their size, color. She should be THAT concerned with...

We came in the store with 4 watches to fix. They received us with a warm and friendly hello. Told us to be back in 30 min to pick up our watches. When it was time to pay they said it was on the house. And said to come back to see them soon for something else. What a kind gesture. We will definitely be coming back. We will upgrade our 20 year rings with them....
