We came here because of the rave reviews... We walked in with a party of 4 around lunch/brunch time on the weekend of 2/1-2/2. Can't remember the day...No one was at the podium but one of the bussers saw us and came over to us and asked how many. He told him 4 and he said to give him a moment to clean a table and he would seat us. The busser sat us down and brought us our menus and said I'll get you your waiter. 20 mins goes by and no waiter. The same busser comes over and brings us chips and salsa and asks if our waiter has come by and we said no and he said he'd go get our waiter again. Another 5-10 mins goes by and the waiter finally comes. I would like to add, while the restaurant was full, they were not that busy. Everyone there, that we noticed, had eaten and was just enjoying the live music and watching the group of ladies dancing. Back to the waiter, our waiter came to take our order but this guy seemed like he was buzzed or drunk. He took our drinks order and our food order and never came back. He was also the "bartender". We watched him go around and talk to all the tables where it was all ladies. He would also go and dance with the ladies that were dancing. The manager, I think, brought our drinks one at a time and each time asked if we were missing any drinks. Once he brought our drinks he never came back. Another busser, I think or maybe cook, came and brought us our appetizers and brought us plastic forks and napkins. The food finally got to us... We ordered 2 quesabirrias, 1 taco plate, and 1 steak plate, well done. When they brought our plates we didn't get any utensils. We tried to get someone's attention and everyone seemed preoccupied, flirting. We had to get up and ask for a knife and fork. After being able to cut into the steak we found it was not well done so we had to get someone's attention to get it sent back and cooked more. The second busser/cook came back and took the steak back and brought it back to our tables shortly after. Food was alright. Drinks were also just okay. If it wasn't for the busser that helped us initially and the busser/cook that would check on us, this place would have gotten 1 ⭐ since we can't give 0. When we asked for the bill they had an extra drink on the bill we didn't order, it took them another 5-10 mins to get it removed...while we waited one of the bussers that was cleaning off our table said I'm sorry if you did not receive good service today. We were just shy of $200 for 3 alcoholic drinks, a cucumber water, an appetizer (pork belly had a lot of fat) and 4 plates. This place had potential walking in with music and dancing, the vibes seemed great walking in but this place was deceiving as service was horrible. Thank you to the 2 gentlemen that helped us while we were there, you guys were great and deserve recognition and a raise. Wish I would have gotten...
Read moreCame in with my family a party of six wasn’t greeted place was empty. We sat down order food initially the waiter that came to our table did not speak one lick of English then we had a lady come and take our orders received our food fairly fast we actually thought it was too fast and we were right. I ordered a $30 dish. It has steak a seafood enchilada rice beans portions were mediocre everyone’s food at the table had a seafood taste my daughter’s chicken enchiladas taste like seafood even smelled like seafood. I took one bite of my steak and it was tough and chewy. The rice was mushy. The beans were OK. I also ordered three Carne Asada tacos. They were horrible. you do not get chips and salsa on Tuesdays because they have a taco Tuesday and the tacos are two dollars. That doesn’t make any sense. I’ve never been to a Mexican/Cantina restaurant where you did not receive chips and salsa Because it was taco Tuesday. The waiter was having inappropriate conversations with the party across from us. She kept using the B word over and over and was being overly loud mind you I have my kids with me. I know we’re in a public place, but have some respect you are at work I didn’t get her name, but she was short kind of heavyset Hispanic woman. I gave my order back. I would’ve ordered something else, but it took them forever to come back to our table I kept looking around and I couldn’t get any help until the food was already cold and everyone else had already almost finished eating the waiter. The heavyset lady said we cannot remove this off of your bill because just because you didn’t like it it wasn’t because I didn’t like it. It was because the food was disgusting. Everything tasted like seafood even the steak the steak was tough. It was not tender. The seafood enchilada was just outright horrible. The rice was mushy. I’m sorry to say, I’m sorry to say we will not be returning to this place unless they have some big changes the reviews are what brought us in. They all must be friends and family because this place was not good at all. Me and my family went to heroes two weeks ago spent around the same amount. The food quality was much higher. The portions were bigger and the taste was 100 times better. This is far below a high-end place. It looks nice in the inside. I will give them...

It was my first time here and they have 3 different sauce options for the aguachiles; green - not spicy, black - mildly spicy, and red - spicy. My server was thoughtful enough to bring me a sample of each with a shrimp in it so I could make the best decision, which was pretty cool because I ended up picking a totally different sauce than I would have without tasting it.
I had the Aguachiles Verde with shrimp cooked in lime juice with cucumber, red onion, and avocado in their signature green sauce. The raw dishes here are amazing. It was light, refreshing, aromatic and bursting with flavor. So good!
I also had the RAW Torre with salmon, tuna, aguachiles, cucumber, red onion, edamame, and carrots in a black spicy sauce topped with avocado, crispy onion and microgreens. This raw tower was just as good as the aguachiles verde with a mix of different tastes and heat levels.
For cooked foods I had the surf and fries and the pork belly tacos. The steak and shrimp fries were great. The waffle fries were hot, crispy and topped with ooey gooey cheese and guacamole.
Unfortunately, the pork belly tacos were meh. There was nothing that stood out about them and the tortilla and guac drowned out any taste of the meat. I'd definitely skip the tacos next time.
All in all, it was a pleasant experience. They had a DJ in house and I was diggin' the...
