Taco Bell — Restaurant in Richmond

I haven't had Taco Bell for a few years. I just got the app, and I got a free Doritos Los Locos Taco for starting it. I also got a Veggie Burrito, a side of Black Beans and Rice, and a Pepsi Zero. It tasted good. They have changed their menu since I last ordered from, since I sèaw some new items. UPDATE:. June 4, 2022-I needed a light supper, so I settled for Taco Bell. I got a Veggie Mexican Pizza and a Diet Pepsi. I never had their Mexican Pizza, but I heard it was good. I gave it a try, and it was delicious! UPDATE:. June 24, 2022-I got a free Diet Pepsi from the app, and a Crispy Cantina Chicken Taco with Creamy Chipotle and a Fiesta Veggie Burrito. Delicious! UPDATE:. August 27, 2022-No it has not changed. The food is still good, and so is the service. I ordered a Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Fiesta Veggie Burrito, and a Diet Pepsi. It was different, light, and delicious! I would order it again. UPDATE:. November 3, 2022-I needed a quick meal, so I got a Crunchy Taco Bell Grande, Burrito Supreme, and Pepsi Zero. It was all delicious! UPDATE:. March 3, 2023-Today, I had the Nachos Bell Grande Combo, which consisted of a Crunchy Taco Supreme, Nachos Bell Grande, and a Pepsi Zero. Absolutely delicious! I will order it again. UPDATE: May 19, 2023-I came here to pick up breakfast after I found Starbucks was closed. I ordered an Iced Cinabon Delight Coffee and a Cheesy Potato Breakfast Burrito. The coffee was delicious as before, and the burrito was great, also. Thank you, Taco Bell, for saving the day! UPDATE: June 18, 2023-I decided to try the Steak Chillie Verde Fries, along with a Pepsi Zero. The Steak Chillie Verde is French fries, steak, peppers, cheese, and sour cream. It is the main item and side item all rolled into one. It is absolutely delicious! It is a limited time item, but should be on the menu all the time. UPDATE: November 29, 2023-This time, I got a free Spicy Potato Soft Taco by redeeming a reward in the app. I also tried the Veggie Mexican Pizza, which was delicious. I ordered a Pepsi Zero, but their machine ran out of it, so I ordered Diet Pepsi instead. The whole meal was great, especially getting a free item! UPDATE: March 27, 2024-I ordered from the app the Cantina Crispy Chicken Taco and Nachos Bell Grande Combo, along with a Pepsi Zero. These tacos are new, and it tasted great. The Nachos Bell Grande were delicious, like always. This was a great meal. UPDATE: April 17, 2024-I decided to try the Big Beef Nachos, and I had a reward to redeem, so I redeemed for a free Pepsi Zero. I got my meal for cheap, and it was well worth it. UPDATE: August 27, 2024-I had a reward in the app I needed to redeem, so I got a free Spicy Potato Soft Taco. I also ordered a Grilled Cheese Burrito with Black Beans and a Pepsi Zero. The meal was cheap, and it was very delicious. Having apps with points and rewards is well worth it! UPDATE: December 3, 2024-I had another reward to redeem, so I got a free medium Pepsi Zero. I also ordered a Beef Chalupa and a Beef Burrito Supreme. It was all delicious, especially the Chalupa. They are in the middle of a decades promo, and Chalupas are something they had years ago. I wish they had it all the time! Chalupas are like a taco, but with a bread shell, rather than a hard shell. That was the best part of the meal! UPDATE: June 8,2025-I tried something I never thought they would have on their menu: 10 pc Crispy Chicken Nuggets! These are different in that they are spicy, and they are delicious! I also tried their Nacho Fries. These are like French Fries, which I I never thought to find here! They came with Cheese sauce, and these were good. Along with Lemonade, this was not your typical Mexican meal, but this is something for those who don't want your normal Mexican food. UPDATE: June 30, 2025-I tried some more of their new chicken items. I tried their Cantina Crispy Chicken Taco, Cantina Crispy Chicken Burrito, and a Medium Pepsi Zero. I went through the Taco Bell drive-thru recently(08/31) approx. 1030pm and was blown away by how good the food was. Everything tasted freshly prepared, but the real standout—the star of the meal—was the Cantina Chalupas.

The shells were phenomenal: warm, soft, and slightly chewy in the center, with a delicate golden crispness along the edges. They had that perfect handmade feel, almost like fresh fry bread, and they held their structure without getting soggy. Each bite offered the ideal contrast between the fluffy shell and the flavorful fillings.

Inside, the ingredients came together beautifully. The seasoned chicken was savory and well-balanced, the lettuce crisp, and the tomatoes bright and juicy. The cheeses and sauces melted into everything seamlessly, adding creaminess without overpowering the freshness. Honestly, these Cantina Chalupas tasted far above what I expected from a fast-food drive-thru—they could rival something you’d get at a sit-down restaurant.

The Crunchwrap Supreme was also excellent—crispy, warm, and perfectly layered—but it was the Chalupas that made the meal unforgettable. Even the Baja Blast tasted especially fresh and cold, rounding out the experience.

I also want to highlight the drive-thru worker, who made the experience even better. They were clear, friendly, and efficient over the speaker, repeating my order back to make sure it was correct. When I pulled up to the window, they greeted me with genuine warmth and a smile, handled my order with care, and made the interaction feel personal instead of rushed. It’s rare to see that level of professionalism and positivity in a fast-food setting, and it left a lasting impression.

Overall, this drive-thru visit proved that Taco Bell can deliver food that feels thoughtful, fresh, and truly satisfying. The Cantina Chalupas alone are worth the trip—and the outstanding service made the meal...

So I was doing to different orders on drive -thru I told the guy 1 order and then trying to tell him not to put something on the stuff because it's a box. He is what's your drink? Pepsi zero. Well we don't have it. I said yes you do. I said ok on the so and so I don't want and he starts adding food on. I said no I don't want extra. So someone else gets on. So he fixed and done my order. Get there and pay things. I said you do have Pepsi zero. No we don't thats caffeine free. No not that one the black button. The guy helping him says it's right hear. So he finished order 1 and paid it. Then the second order. We got 2 drinks and the order 1. I said where is the one for order 2 I gave it to you. Sir no you gave us one.
