My spouse and I stayed and hosted another couple for a full week stay. Check in was quick and contact-less. I received a call several hours before my arrival confirming our suite was available for check in (early).||||The two-bedroom condo was on the street-side, 2nd floor, with one flight of stairs. A very nice patio area was set up outside the room. Unit was clean and modern, although floor plan was slightly odd. I assume this was once a typical Florida beach motel in years past, and was converted to condos - thus some oddities in layout. Everything worked as expected and there was only one minor maintenance issue which I reported to the manager.||||My only complaint (which I kept to myself and my travel partners) was the street noise started promptly at 6:00 AM. Light sleepers may want to try a unit closer to the gulf side of the property.||||Parking is a bit tight for larger vehicles and occasionally hard to come by, but we found a spot each time we returned. Pool, hot tubs, grill area all very well kept and clean with immediate access to the beautiful white sand of St. Pete's Beach. There are plenty of dining choices and beach bars within walking distance or just a short drive away. Grocery and pharmacy are within several hundred yards.||||We'll stay again here...

We were so surprised how many owners/people came out to talk with our Dad and see the original pictures of the Mariner. || Our Dad was so proud of how the staff has maintained this property. They truly care about this hotel and the guests who come. || Grandfathers dream was having a place for families to enjoy each other, the beach and feel like it was “their” home. All units have kitchenettes for this reason. ||Come and feel the magic of his dream. It’s still very much alive at the Mariner. ||||Thanks everyone for the best stay. We will be back soon!!!!! || ...

The 1 bedroom rooms are definitely small and definitely wouldn't want more than 2 people in the room. The outdoor space is small and when we were there a large family with many small children monopolized the pool and hot tub the entire week. They were very loud and the children were well under 12 years old and the parents allowed them to use the hot tub as a swimming pool. With all that said the beach is definitely worth the stay, as long as you plan on spending the week on the beach and not...
