The Village — Local services in Saint Robert

We recently used The Village in St. Robert, MO as the catering venue for my dad’s celebration of life, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. During what was a very emotional and important day for our family, The Village truly went above and beyond.

The food was absolutely outstanding — the barbecue pulled pork and chicken were both incredibly flavorful and tender. You could tell everything was made with care. The sides were just as impressive — classic, comforting, and delicious, exactly what we hoped for to bring people together in remembrance.

Stephanie and her staff were kind, professional, and genuinely attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly so we could focus on honoring my dad. Their attention to detail and thoughtful service meant a great deal to us.

I should have known from the start with how unprofessional she responded to me that it was not going to work. Trying to communicate with this lady is next to impossible. She made arrangements for us to talk and then wouldn't answer her phone for hours. Then she passed me off to her assistant because she was too busy to talk but didn't tell her anything about what I wanted or what it was for. Her assistant was extremely nice and promised to answer her phone and help me in any way. While the owner acted like she really didn't care. This whole process was over a 32 and a half week process. The only time that I got a quick response was when I told her that I no longer needed her services. And even then, her assistant was more pleasant and professional in her response. I definitely do not recommend this business if you expect a stress...

I give this a 10*rate. our experience. My sisters and I had Celebration of Life for our mother, Rose. A catering service with alot of class, elegance, personable, loving staff. Stephanie made me want to just hangout with her. She and her staff can meet all your needs, even if you dont know you needed it. We just cant Thank the The Village staff eniugh for the awesome service they provided for our family. We will be back...... Stephanie even entertained our babies....
