I placed an order for delivery. As you can see from the screenshots, I feel like I waited AMPLE time before contacting Lucky House to check the status of my order. “Arrives between 6:40 PM and 6:46 PM”, so I waited 30 minutes beyond the latest time before I called and placed my call at 7:16pm. It was at that time that I was informed by the female employee that my order was still being prepared and that it would be another 30-40 minutes before my order was delivered. I told the employee that I would cancel my order.
So then I go to DoorDash to cancel the order, and I get “If you cancel now we cannot refund you Since the store is already prepping this order, you will not be refunded. Your total refund will be $O.” Like are you serious? I don’t get any food because they are struggling to keep up and then they get to keep my money too?! Not out any food…but get the money…see a problem?!
6 minutes after I placed my call to Lucky House, their delivery driver called me to apologize for the delay and he takes the fault for the terrible customer service and communication. I explained to the driver, who was extremely polite and understanding, that it wasn’t his fault at all and that if the people in store know that things are delayed, then they should have called me to update me BEFORE I waited 30 past the quoted time. I won’t put his information out on here (which is why his number is blacked out), but my hat’s off to him. He even offered to do everything in his control to make things right. I told him that the manager or owner should have been the person to make the call BEFORE I had to call them, BUT they definitely should have been the call that I received to apologize.
Update: 3 minutes after I posted the original review, my order was marked complete…but guess who didn’t get anything to eat!!! I hope the driver starts his search for a new job, one that the owner/manager doesn’t leave him to be the only responsible person working there. I hope you at least got to have the $48.87 that I didn’t get to have back, because YOU...

The bad part was that my son began after two bites to have a severe allergic reaction. I called them and asked if they used peanuts in their lo-mein and the person who answered did not know.. they asked the cook and he stated that they do use a peanut based oil for their cooking.. the worst part is that this is nowhere to be found on their menu.. last time i will go there... We were fortunate enough that we know how to deal with allergic reactions and our son in ok, when i did call they had nothing to say and did not seem to care. they do not care enough to let their customer know they use peanut products on their food.. we order beef lo-mein from many different establishments and this is the first time in 10 years that it has peanuts... who puts peanuts in beef lo-mein, Lucky House does and who knows what other products.. their employees don't...
Read moreOn Tuesday, June 17, 2025, I went to dine in and ordered the usual wonton soup and specifically asked the cashier to put some veggies and noodles good for two people and a small pork bulgogi. I got the wonton soup with salty broth and a plate of soupy bulgogi. I have been eating and coming to this place for years and this is the first time this happened. I gave the cashier a reasonable tip and explained to her my disappointment about the food and this is what she said, “you have to pay extra for those”. I said then charge me. When I eat there I usually get a spoon for my soup and a fork but this time I got nothing. I said how am I supposed to eat there food with no utensils. She pointed at those utensils on the table.
